Menteri Koperasi RI Ferry Juliantono saat memberikan keterangan kepada awak media.
JATIMTIMES - Menteri Koperasi RI Dr Ferry Juliantono melaksanakan kunjungan kerja ke Pabrik Gula Joyoboyo, Kecamatan Kras, Kabupaten Kediri Sabtu (6/6/2026). Tujuan kedatangannya untuk menyaksikan secara langsung penandatanganan nota kesepahaman (MoU) Koperasi Pemasaran Putra Harapan Jaya (Koppem Raharja) Kediri bekerja sama dengan Koperasi Konsumen Kana dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan tebu di pabrik Indogula Joyoboyo Kediri.
Dalam keteranganya Menteri Koperasi Ferry Juliantono mengatakan bahwa pihaknya bergerak cepat mendorong koperasi di Indonesia untuk kembali memperkuat sektor produksi dan hilirisasi. Salah satu langkah konkretnya adalah memberikan dukungan pembiayaan melalui Lembaga Pengelola Dana Bergulir (LPDB-KUMKM) kepada Koperasi Konsumen Kana di Kediri, Jawa Timur.

Menteri koperasi menegaskan bahwa langkah ini sejalan dengan instruksi presiden RI untuk memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan menggenjot produktivitas gula nasional demi mengurangi ketergantungan pada impor.
"Kami memberikan dukungan pembiayaan melalui LPDB untuk kebutuhan mesin-mesin di sini. Kementerian Koperasi sekarang mendorong penuh koperasi untuk kembali ke sektor produksi," terang Ferry.
Hebatnya, ekosistem hilirisasi di Kediri ini tidak berhenti pada produksi gula saja. Ferry mengungkapkan bahwa hasil akhir berupa gula merah dari pabrik ini nantinya akan langsung diserap menjadi bahan baku untuk pabrik kecap yang akan segera didirikan oleh Koperasi Kana.
"Saya akan terus mendorong pendirian pabrik-pabrik kecap, saus, hingga sambal yang dikelola oleh koperasi. Hasil produksinya nanti bisa didistribusikan dan dijual kembali ke koperasi-koperasi di tingkat desa dan kelurahan," tambahnya.
Sementara itu, Ketua Koppem Raharja Desi Permatasari menegaskan, pihaknya sudah menghimpun petani tebu di Kabupaten Kediri dan menjadi anggota Koppem Raharja dan siap mensuplay tebu ke pabrik Indogula. "Dengan jerjasama ini kami berkomitmen untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tebu di pabrik Indogula Joyoboyo," tegasnya.
Disamping itu, Desi sangat mengapresiasi atas kepercayaan dari Koperasi Kana dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan tebu. Diharapkan sinergi yang saling menguntungkan antara koperasi, petani dan pelaku industri. "Karena Kolaborasi yang kuat memberi dampak positif kepada anggota dan penguatan petani," tndasnya.

Diharapkan kerja sama berjalan lancar dan berkelanjutan serta menjadi awal kerjasama yang baik. Dengan semangat gotongroyong untuk mencapai kesuksesan bersama.
Dalam kesempatan ini, Desi juga mengajak semua petani tebu di Kediri dan sekitarnya untuk bergabung menjadi anggota koperasi Koppem Raharja. Pasalnya, dengan bergabung menjadi anggota akan banyak kemudahan termasuk penyerapan hasi panen.
Sementara itu, Ketua Koperasi Pemasaran Kana Jonathan Danang Wardhana mengaku senang dengan kerja sama yang dobangun dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan bahan baku tebu di pabrik Indogula. Pasalnya, selain membantu penyerapan hasil panen petani, juga mendukung pemerintah dalam hal ketahanan swasembada pangan melalui sektor gula.
“Kerja sama bukan sekedar usaha, tetapi nilai hilirisasi untuk mendapat manfaat dan nilai tambah penambahan. Dengan rencana pembangunan pabrik kecap, kami mengajak kolaborasi. Koperasi menjadi pelaku utama dalam sektor produksi dan distribusi, mampu menbuka peluang usaha dan menjngkatkan kesejahteraan,” ucapnya.
