JATIMTIMES - Timnas Indonesia U-19 memulai langkahnya di Piala AFF U-19 2026 dengan hasil yang menjanjikan. Tampil di hadapan pendukung sendiri di Stadion Utama Sumatera Utara pada Senin (1/6/2026), Garuda Muda berhasil mengamankan kemenangan 3-0 atas Myanmar dan langsung menempati posisi teratas klasemen sementara Grup A.

Tambahan tiga poin membuat Indonesia berada di jalur yang tepat untuk bersaing memperebutkan tiket ke fase berikutnya. Hasil tersebut juga menempatkan skuad Merah Putih di atas Vietnam yang sama-sama mengoleksi tiga angka pada pertandingan pertama.

Meski menguasai jalannya laga sejak awal, Indonesia membutuhkan waktu cukup lama untuk memecah kebuntuan. Myanmar tampil disiplin dalam bertahan dan beberapa kali mampu meredam tekanan yang dibangun para pemain tuan rumah.

Gol yang ditunggu akhirnya datang menjelang turun minum. Arkhan Kaka sukses memanfaatkan peluang pada menit ke-38 untuk membawa Indonesia memimpin. Keunggulan itu bertahan hingga babak pertama berakhir.

Setelah jeda, pertandingan berjalan dengan tempo yang tidak seintens 45 menit pertama. Namun Indonesia tetap mampu menjaga kendali permainan dan menciptakan sejumlah peluang berbahaya. 

Pergantian pemain yang dilakukan tim pelatih menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam kemenangan ini. Dimas Wicaksono yang masuk dari bangku cadangan tampil efektif di lini depan dan berhasil mencatatkan namanya di papan skor dua kali.

Gol pertama Dimas tercipta pada menit ke-78 sebelum kembali memperdaya pertahanan Myanmar pada menit ke-87. Dua gol tersebut menutup pertandingan dengan kemenangan meyakinkan 3-0 untuk Indonesia.

Sementara itu, Vietnam juga mengawali turnamen dengan kemenangan. Dalam laga yang digelar lebih awal, Vietnam menundukkan Timor Leste dengan skor 3-0. Seluruh gol Vietnam dicetak oleh Hoang Cong Hau yang mencatatkan hattrick.

Meski memiliki jumlah poin dan selisih gol yang sama, Indonesia kini berada di posisi pertama klasemen sementara Grup A.

Laga berikutnya akan menjadi kesempatan bagi Garuda Muda untuk memperkokoh posisi di puncak klasemen. Indonesia dijadwalkan menghadapi Timor Leste pada Kamis (4/6/2026), sedangkan Myanmar akan berusaha bangkit saat berjumpa Vietnam.
