JATIMTIMES - Persikoba Kota Batu memulai langkahnya di babak 64 besar putaran nasional Liga 4 Piala Presiden 2025/2026 dengan hasil yang diharapkan. Bermain di Stadion Brantas Kota Batu, tim berjuluk Elang Putih berhasil mengamankan kemenangan 2-0 atas TS Saiburai Lampung, Minggu (31/5/2026).

Dukungan suporter yang memadati stadion menjadi energi tambahan bagi skuad Persikoba. Namun, laga pembuka Grup M itu tidak berjalan mudah. TS Saiburai tampil disiplin dan beberapa kali mampu mengganggu alur permainan tuan rumah.

Pada awal pertandingan, kedua tim lebih banyak bermain hati-hati. Persikoba mencoba membangun serangan dari lini tengah, sementara tim tamu mengandalkan transisi cepat untuk menekan pertahanan Elang Putih.

Kebuntuan akhirnya pecah menjelang pertengahan babak pertama. Berawal dari skema bola mati, Persikoba sukses memanfaatkan peluang melalui sundulan Aprireza Zafa Alfansyah yang menyambut umpan tendangan bebas Ali Wahid Athyana. Gol tersebut mengubah suasana Stadion Brantas dan membawa Persikoba unggul 1-0 hingga jeda.

Memasuki babak kedua, permainan tim tuan rumah mulai menunjukkan peningkatan. Persikoba tampil lebih percaya diri dalam mengontrol penguasaan bola dan menciptakan sejumlah peluang berbahaya.

Keunggulan akhirnya bertambah pada menit ke-60. Kali ini Ali Wahid Athyana yang berperan sebagai kreator gol pertama, berganti menjadi pencetak gol. Aksinya melewati dua pemain lawan sebelum melepaskan tendangan keras membuat kiper TS Saiburai tak berkutik.

Gol tersebut sekaligus menjadi penutup pertandingan. Meski kedua tim masih berupaya menciptakan peluang di sisa waktu, skor 2-0 tetap bertahan hingga peluit panjang dibunyikan.

Pelatih Persikoba Arif Suyono mengaku bersyukur timnya mampu mengawali putaran nasional dengan kemenangan. Namun, ia menilai anak asuhnya masih belum menampilkan performa terbaik seperti saat berlaga di fase regional.

“Gaya permainan kami sempat terbawa oleh gaya bermain mereka. Beruntung kami bisa memaksimalkan beberapa peluang yang didapat sehingga berhasil meraih tiga poin,” kata Arif Suyono.

Pelatih yang akrab disapa Coach Keceng itu menilai permainan Persikoba baru berkembang setelah memasuki babak kedua. Menurutnya, tim masih perlu melakukan evaluasi agar tampil lebih konsisten pada pertandingan berikutnya.

“Kalau dibandingkan dengan putaran regional, menurut saya permainan kami saat itu lebih baik. Entah karena karakter lawan atau kami yang terlalu mengikuti permainan mereka. Namun alhamdulillah, di babak kedua tim mulai berkembang dan menunjukkan permainan yang lebih baik,” imbuhnya.

Tambahan tiga poin membuat Persikoba langsung berada di papan atas klasemen sementara Grup M. Posisi tersebut menjadi modal penting bagi tim kebanggaan Kota Batu untuk menjaga peluang lolos ke fase berikutnya.

Persikoba selanjutnya akan menghadapi Persigubin Pegunungan Bintang pada laga kedua grup Rabu (3/6/2026). Bermain kembali di hadapan pendukung sendiri, Elang Putih berpeluang memperbesar lolos jika mampu meraih kemenangan kedua secara beruntun.
