JATIMTIMES - Hari ini, Kamis, 14 Mei 2026, umat Kristiani memperingati Hari Kenaikan Yesus Kristus atau Kenaikan Isa Almasih. Momen ini menjadi waktu yang tepat bagi umat Kristiani untuk beribadah, berdoa, hingga melakukan ziarah religi bersama keluarga.

Berikut empat wisata religi Kristiani di Malang yang menarik dikunjungi saat libur Kenaikan Yesus Kristus.

1. Desa Wisata Peniwen

Desa Wisata Peniwen di Kecamatan Kromengan dikenal sebagai salah satu kawasan religi Kristiani yang cukup populer di Kabupaten Malang.

Desa ini kerap dijuluki “Desa Nasrani” karena mayoritas penduduknya beragama Kristen. Sejak tahun 1880, wilayah tersebut juga menjadi pusat kegiatan GKJW.

Di kawasan ini terdapat dua gereja, termasuk gereja peninggalan kolonial Belanda yang masih berdiri kokoh hingga sekarang. Suasana desa yang tenang dan asri membuat tempat ini cocok untuk ziarah maupun refleksi spiritual.

Selain wisata religi, Desa Peniwen juga memiliki nilai sejarah nasional melalui Monumen Peniwen Affair yang mengenang peristiwa tragis pada 19 Februari 1949.

2. Taman Rosario Montfort

Bagi umat Kristiani yang ingin menikmati suasana doa yang lebih hening, Taman Rosario Montfort bisa menjadi pilihan.

Taman doa ini berada di kawasan Seminari Monfort Pondok Kebijaksanaan, Jalan Joyo Agung No.100, Merjosari, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang.

Keunikan tempat ini terletak pada desain tamannya yang berbentuk rosario menyerupai hati. Area hijau yang dipenuhi pepohonan membuat suasana terasa sejuk dan damai.
Tak sedikit pengunjung datang untuk berdoa rosario, meditasi, hingga sekadar mencari ketenangan.

3. Kolumbarium dan Taman Doa Karmel Parantijati

Kolumbarium dan Taman Doa Karmel Parantijati menjadi salah satu tempat ziarah yang cukup dikenal di Malang Raya.

Lokasinya berada di Jalan Raya Pandanlandung No.48A, Kalisongo, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang.

Tempat ini berada di dekat rumah abu para biarawan Karmel dan umat beriman. Meski identik dengan area ziarah, taman doa ini memiliki banyak patung religius dengan desain artistik dan penuh makna.

Suasana yang syahdu membuat pengunjung nyaman untuk berdoa, devosi, maupun sekadar menikmati ketenangan alam sekitar.

4. Gereja Katedral Malang 

Gereja Katedral Santa Perawan Maria dari Gunung Karmel atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Gereja Ijen menjadi salah satu ikon wisata religi di Kota Malang.

Gereja yang berada di Jalan Buring No.60, Oro-oro Dowo, Kecamatan Klojen ini selesai dibangun pada 1936 dengan gaya arsitektur neo-gothic yang khas.

Bangunan megah dengan kaca patri artistik dan interior klasik membuat gereja ini tak hanya menjadi tempat ibadah, tetapi juga destinasi wisata sejarah dan religi.

Saat Hari Kenaikan Yesus Kristus seperti hari ini, gereja tersebut biasanya dipadati umat yang mengikuti misa dan doa bersama.
