JATIMTIMES - Suara raungan motor klasik memenuhi kawasan Balai Kota Malang jelang pelaksanaan Jawara International Classic Bike Rally 2026 . Sebanyak 500 motor antik dari berbagai daerah hingga luar negeri bakal memulai perjalanan lintas selatan dari Kota Malang menuju Solo pada Jumat (15/5/2026) besok.
Sebelum resmi diberangkatkan, seluruh peserta terlebih dahulu menjalani proses scrutineering atau pengecekan kendaraan dan kesehatan pengendara di Graha Wisma Tumapel, Kamis (14/5/2026). Pemeriksaan dilakukan untuk memastikan seluruh motor maupun rider dalam kondisi prima selama perjalanan sejauh 458 kilometer.

Ketua Pelaksana Jawara International Classic Bike Rally 2026, Fanny Nurisma mengatakan kegiatan tersebut merupakan agenda yang digagas oleh Motor Antique Club Indonesia (MACI). Event ini menjadi ajang berkumpulnya pecinta motor klasik lintas generasi dan lintas negara.
"Jawara itu merupakan singkatan dari Jelajah Warisan Nusantara, dan besok kami akan berangkat dari Kota Malang dan finish di Benteng Vastenburg yang ada di Solo sejauh 458 kilometer. Perjalanan melintasi Jalur Lintas Selatan dan memakan waktu dua hari satu malam," jelasnya, Kamis, 14 Mei 2026.
Tak hanya menghadirkan motor-motor lawas asal Eropa dan Amerika, rally internasional ini juga diramaikan motor antik pabrikan Jepang. Berbagai merek legendaris seperti Norton, AJS, BMW, Harley Davidson, Yamaha XS 650 hingga Meguro ikut ambil bagian dalam perjalanan panjang tersebut.
"Jadi, ada motor Eropa, Amerika dan Jepang tetapi non scooter. Untuk motornya sendiri, yang termuda buatan tahun 1976 dan yang tertua tahun 1927," terangnya.
Atmosfer internasional terasa kuat dalam event perdana ini. Peserta datang dari berbagai kota di Indonesia, mulai dari Medan hingga Kalimantan. Bahkan sejumlah rider dari Malaysia dan Australia turut membawa sendiri motor antiknya ke Kota Malang.
"Ini merupakan kegiatan perdana yang kami gelar dan juga melibatkan klub selain MACI dan juga perorangan. Peserta yang paling jauh datang dari Medan dan Kalimantan dan karena ini event international maka ada peserta yang datang dari Malaysia serta Australia," bebernya.
Fanny mengungkapkan, Jawara International Classic Bike Rally direncanakan menjadi agenda rutin yang digelar setiap empat tahun sekali. Kota Malang dipilih sebagai titik start karena dinilai memiliki kekayaan heritage dan panorama kota yang memikat.

"Kenapa kami memilih Kota Malang sebagai titik start, karena disini banyak cagar budaya salah satunya adalah Balai Kota Malang. Di sisi lain, kami juga ingin memperkenalkan ke masyarakat khususnya pecinta motor antik bahwa Malang ini begitu indah," ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, salah satu peserta asal Kendal, Jawa Tengah, Dian Kurniawan mengaku rela menempuh perjalanan jauh menuju Kota Malang dengan menunggangi Norton 500 cc produksi tahun 1956.
"Ini saya berkendara langsung dari Kendal ke Kota Malang, mengendarai motor Norton 500 cc buatan tahun 1956. Alhamdulillah, motor dalam kondisi prima dan tanpa kendala dan siap mengikuti kegiatan ini," jelasnya.
Bagi Dian, sensasi touring menggunakan motor antik tidak bisa digantikan kendaraan modern. Suara mesin klasik dan pengalaman menikmati perjalanan menjadi kenikmatan tersendiri bagi para pecinta motor lawas.
"Turing naik motor antik itu nikmat, apalagi kalau mendengar suara mesinnya yang enak didengar. Bahkan dengan motor Norton ini, saya pernah turing hingga Flores dan Sabang," tandasnya.
