JATIMTIMES - Ketegangan antara Iran dan Amerika Serikat kembali memanas. Pemerintah Iran resmi mengajukan gugatan terhadap Amerika Serikat ke Mahkamah Arbitrase Internasional di Den Haag, Belanda, terkait dugaan agresi militer dan campur tangan terhadap urusan dalam negeri Iran.

Langkah hukum tersebut menjadi babak baru konflik panjang antara kedua negara setelah perang selama 12 hari yang terjadi pada Maret 2026. Dalam gugatan itu, Teheran meminta Washington menghentikan intervensi politik maupun militer serta membayar ganti rugi atas berbagai kerusakan yang ditimbulkan.

Pengaduan Iran didaftarkan berdasarkan ketentuan Perjanjian Aljazair 1981 melalui Pengadilan Klaim Iran-Amerika Serikat. Gugatan tersebut tercatat sebagai Kasus No. A-34.

Dalam dokumen pengajuan, Iran menuding Amerika Serikat telah melanggar kewajiban internasional melalui sejumlah tindakan, mulai dari agresi militer terhadap fasilitas nuklir Iran, ancaman penggunaan kekuatan bersenjata, hingga penerapan sanksi ekonomi yang dinilai merugikan negara tersebut.

Iran juga menyoroti keterlibatan Amerika Serikat dalam perang 12 hari yang pecah pada Maret 2026. Konflik itu bermula setelah Amerika Serikat bersama Israel melancarkan serangan ke wilayah Iran pada 28 Februari 2026.

Serangan tersebut kemudian dibalas Iran dengan meluncurkan serangan ke wilayah Israel dan sejumlah fasilitas militer Amerika Serikat di kawasan Timur Tengah.

Pada awalnya, Amerika Serikat dan Israel menyebut operasi militer itu dilakukan untuk menghadapi ancaman dari program nuklir Iran. Namun dalam perkembangan berikutnya, kedua negara disebut secara terbuka menginginkan perubahan kekuasaan di Iran.

Dalam gugatan yang diajukan, Teheran meminta Mahkamah Arbitrase menuntut Amerika Serikat agar menghentikan segala bentuk campur tangan langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap urusan internal Iran.

Selain itu, Iran juga meminta kompensasi penuh atas seluruh kerusakan yang ditimbulkan akibat tindakan militer dan kebijakan yang dilakukan Washington.

Berdasarkan Perjanjian Aljazair 1981, Amerika Serikat sebenarnya memiliki kewajiban untuk tidak melakukan intervensi politik maupun militer terhadap Iran, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

Setelah konflik berlangsung selama hampir dua pekan, Washington dan Teheran akhirnya mengumumkan gencatan senjata pada 7 April 2026. Kedua negara kemudian melanjutkan pembicaraan di Islamabad, Pakistan, namun negosiasi tersebut belum menghasilkan kesepakatan.

Situasi semakin memanas setelah Amerika Serikat mulai menerapkan blokade terhadap sejumlah pelabuhan Iran usai perundingan mengalami kebuntuan. Hingga kini, mediator internasional masih berupaya membuka peluang perundingan baru guna meredakan konflik kedua negara.
