JATIMTIMES – Keluhan petani dan pelaku wisata terkait rusaknya infrastruktur jalan menuju lahan apel di Kecamatan Bumiaji mencuat. Buruknya akses yang saat ini masih didominasi tanah dan bebatuan dinilai mulai mengancam keberlanjutan sektor agrowisata yang menjadi ikon Kota Batu.

Kondisi medan yang terjal tidak hanya membuat wisatawan enggan berkunjung ke area petik apel, tetapi juga membebani para petani. Risiko kecelakaan saat mengangkut muatan hasil panen meningkat tajam, terutama saat cuaca buruk. Kondisi ini membuat perbaikan jalur usaha tani menjadi kebutuhan mendesak guna menjaga kestabilan ekonomi di sektor pertanian. Hal tersebut direspons Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Batu.

Wakil Wali Kota Batu, Heli Suyanto, menegaskan bahwa penanganan infrastruktur ini tidak boleh hanya bertumpu pada birokrasi yang panjang. Ia mendorong adanya skema kolaborasi antara pemerintah daerah dan pemerintah desa agar perbaikan bisa segera dieksekusi tanpa harus selalu menunggu kucuran dana APBD.

"Pembangunan infrastruktur ini bisa dilakukan dengan berbagi peran. Tidak harus selalu menunggu APBD, dana APBDes sebenarnya bisa dialokasikan khusus untuk jalur usaha tani," jelas Heli, belum lama ini.

Pihaknya mendorong desa-desa di Kecamatan Bumiaji untuk juga berupaya mandiri dalam penyediaan material bangunan. Salah satu opsinya adalah melibatkan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) untuk memproduksi kebutuhan infrastruktur secara lokal. Skema ini dinilai jauh lebih efektif untuk menekan biaya operasional sekaligus mempercepat realisasi pembangunan di lapangan.

Ia mencontohkan praktik sukses yang sudah berjalan di Desa Sumberbrantas. Di sana, para petani dan pemerintah desa telah mampu memproduksi paving secara mandiri untuk kebutuhan jalan di area pertanian mereka. Model kemandirian seperti inilah yang diharapkan bisa direplikasi oleh desa-desa lain di Kota Batu.

"Jika desa mampu memproduksi material sendiri, pembangunan akses jalan akan jauh lebih cepat. Kendaraan pengangkut hasil panen maupun mobil wisatawan nantinya bisa melintas dengan lebih lebar dan aman," tambah dia.

Langkah perbaikan jalan ini diproyeksikan menjadi kunci utama untuk menarik kembali minat wisatawan yang sempat menurun akibat akses yang sulit. Di sisi lain, upaya ini juga menjadi ujian bagi keseriusan pemerintah dalam memproteksi sektor agrowisata agar tetap kompetitif dibandingkan destinasi wisata buatan yang terus menjamur di wilayah Malang Raya.

Menurut Heli, dengan akses yang lebih memadai, kejayaan apel sebagai identitas utama Kota Batu dapat kembali bangkit. "Sekaligus memastikan kesejahteraan petani tetap terjaga melalui efisiensi biaya distribusi hasil bumi," imbuhnya.
