JATIMTIMES Kota Malang tahun ini diproyeksi terdongkrak dari sektor perhotelan. Pemerintah kota mencatat lima proyek hotel baru yang mulai bergerak. Sebagian masuk tahap perizinan, sebagian lain sudah hampir beroperasi.
Kepala DPMPTSP Kota Malang, Arif Tri Sastyawan , menyebut geliat ini menjadi sinyal positif. Selain bagi iklim investasi di Kota Malang, juga berkaitan dengan potensi pendapatan asli daerah (PAD). “Ada lima hotel yang sedang berproses, dari PBG hingga hampir beroperasi,” ujarnya.

Salah satu proyek yang sedang mengurus PBG adalah Java Dwipa Hotel. Lokasinya berada di kawasan Jalan Cokroaminoto, Klojen. Proses administrasi masih berjalan di tahap awal.
Dua proyek lain, Luminor Hotel dan Dinoyo Oasis Apartment, sudah masuk tahap pembayaran retribusi. Keduanya berada di Jalan MT Haryono Gang 9, kawasan Dinoyo. “Pembayaran retribusi dilakukan awal April,” kata Arif.
Sementara itu, pembangunan Hotel Novotel di Jalan Letjen Sutoyo terus dipersiapkan. Proyek tersebut ditargetkan mulai beroperasi pada 2027. Lokasinya berada di wilayah Rampal Celaket. Hotel Aston di kawasan Sigura-gura sudah rampung secara fisik. Namun, proyek itu masih menunggu penyelesaian administrasi lingkungan. “Tinggal perubahan adendum terkait AMDAL saja,” terang Arif.

Menurut Arif, hadirnya lima hotel ini memberi efek berantai bagi ekonomi daerah. Investasi yang masuk diprediksi meningkat seiring bertambahnya proyek berjalan. Sektor pendukung juga ikut terdorong.

Pemkot Malang menargetkan investasi tahun ini mencapai Rp 3,2 triliun. Angka tersebut mengacu pada ketentuan Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Timur. Optimisme muncul seiring tren pembangunan yang meningkat.
Pada tahun sebelumnya, realisasi investasi sudah menembus Rp 3 triliun. Capaian itu menjadi modal kuat untuk melangkah lebih tinggi. “Kami harap hotel baru ini bisa mendorong capaian 2026,” tegas Arif.
Selain investasi, proyek hotel juga membuka peluang kerja baru. Kebutuhan tenaga operasional akan meningkat saat hotel mulai beroperasi. Dampaknya diharapkan dirasakan langsung oleh masyarakat.
