JATIMTIMES – Perempuan masa kini tak hanya dituntut mandiri dalam berkendara, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran tinggi terhadap keselamatan diri di jalan. Dalam memaknai Hari Kartini, PT Mitra Pinasthika Mulia (MPM Honda Jatim), distributor sepeda motor Honda wilayah Jawa Timur dan Nusa Tenggara Timur, menggelar kegiatan edukasi keselamatan berkendara di MPM Safety Riding Center Sidoarjo pada 17 April 2026. 

Kegiatan ini memadukan edukasi safety riding dengan pendekatan mindfulness, mengajak peserta untuk tidak hanya terampil berkendara, tetapi juga mampu menjaga ketenangan, fokus, dan kesadaran penuh dalam setiap perjalanan.

Sebanyak 80 peserta dari kalangan pelajar dan komunitas perempuan di Surabaya dan Sidoarjo mengikuti kegiatan ini. Mereka mendapatkan pembekalan teknik berkendara aman, pemahaman rambu lalu lintas, hingga pengelolaan emosi saat berkendara. Kegiatan ini juga menghadirkan sinergi bersama pihak kepolisian serta praktisi untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif.

Suhari, Marketing Communication & Development Division Head MPM Honda Jatim, mengatakan kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari komitmen perusahaan dalam menghadirkan edukasi keselamatan berkendara yang berkelanjutan dan relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat.

“Melalui momentum Hari Kartini, kami ingin mengajak perempuan untuk semakin sadar akan pentingnya keselamatan berkendara, tidak hanya dari sisi keterampilan, tetapi juga kesiapan mental agar tetap fokus, tenang, dan selalu mengedepankan prinsip #Cari_Aman sebagai bagian dari Sinergi Bagi Negeri,” ujarnya.

Instruktur Safety Riding MPM Honda Jatim, Septi Chamerawati, menambahkan bahwa perempuan memiliki peran penting sebagai pelopor keselamatan di jalan, seiring meningkatnya jumlah perempuan sebagai pengendara aktif.

“Penting bagi perempuan untuk tidak hanya menguasai teknik, tetapi juga mampu menjaga fokus dan ketenangan saat berkendara dalam berbagai situasi di jalan,” jelasnya.

Sementara itu, Briptu Fasela menegaskan bahwa disiplin dan kesadaran menjadi kunci utama keselamatan berkendara. “Dengan memahami aturan lalu lintas, mengenali rambu dan isyarat, serta menjaga fokus dan disiplin, risiko kecelakaan dapat diminimalkan,” ujarnya.

Melalui kegiatan ini, MPM Honda Jatim berharap semakin banyak perempuan dapat menjadi pelopor keselamatan berkendara dengan mengedepankan prinsip #Cari_Aman, sekaligus menghadirkan semangat Kartini sebagai sosok yang tangguh, mandiri, dan peduli terhadap keselamatan diri maupun sesama pengguna jalan.
