JATIMTIMES - Memilih lipstik yang hasilnya sesuai ekspektasi ternyata tidak sesederhana melihat warna di katalog. Banyak orang merasa salah pilih shade karena tidak memahami warna dasar bibir mereka sendiri.

Beauty content creator Dinda Azzura mengungkapkan bahwa selain skin tone dan undertone, warna asli bibir memiliki peran besar dalam menentukan hasil akhir lipstik di wajah.

“Banyak yang merasa salah pilih shade lipstick, padahal masalahnya bukan di produknya, tapi di warna bibir yang belum dikenali,” kata perempuan yang akrab disapa Dinzzur ini.

Ia mencontohkan kondisi bibir two tone yang cukup umum dimiliki banyak orang. Pada kondisi ini, warna bibir bagian luar cenderung lebih gelap atau keunguan, sementara bagian dalam lebih terang.

“Kalau bibirnya two tone, terus pakai warna nude yang terlalu pucat, hasilnya bisa kelihatan abu-abu, bukan nude cantik seperti di katalog,” jelasnya.

Menurut Dinda, pemilik bibir dengan undertone ungu sebaiknya menghindari lipstik nude yang terlalu terang atau banyak kandungan putih. Sebaliknya, pilih warna dengan sedikit hint pink agar hasilnya lebih natural.

“Warna yang di katalog kelihatan nude peach cantik, di bibir tertentu bisa berubah jadi ashy atau abu-abu. Jadi, harus disesuaikan dengan warna bibir masing-masing,” katanya.

Sementara itu, bagi yang memiliki warna bibir pucat dengan sedikit abu-abu, warna nude justru akan semakin mempertegas kesan pucat. Dinda menyarankan memilih warna yang sedikit lebih bold agar wajah terlihat segar.

“Kalau dasar bibirnya sudah pucat, pakai nude malah makin pudar. Warna yang di katalog terlihat bold pun kadang di bibir jadi biasa saja,” tambah Dinzzur.

Untuk bibir berwarna lebih gelap atau kecokelatan, Dinda menyebut warna pink atau ungu bisa tampak lebih gelap dari aslinya. Oleh karena itu, pemilihan warna dengan hint cokelat bisa menjadi solusi.

“Kalau bibirnya cenderung cokelat, pilih lipstik yang ada hint cokelat juga supaya warnanya lebih menyatu dan nggak terlihat terlalu kontras,” jelasnya.

Ia menegaskan bahwa perbedaan warna bibir adalah hal yang normal dan bisa disiasati dengan teknik tambahan seperti penggunaan lip liner atau corrector.

“Kalau mau hasil lebih rata, bisa pakai lip liner atau corrector dulu. Yang penting kenali dulu warna bibir sendiri sebelum beli lipstick,” tutup Dinzzur.

Dengan memahami karakter warna bibir, pemilihan lipstik pun bisa lebih tepat, sehingga hasil akhirnya terlihat lebih natural dan sesuai keinginan.
