JATIMTIMES - Pengacara kondang Hotman Paris Hutapea memutuskan mundur sebagai kuasa hukum mantan Jaksa Agung Muda Tindak Pidana Khusus (Jampidsus) Febrie Adriansyah. Keputusan tersebut diambil karena kondisi kesehatannya yang menurun sehingga ia memilih fokus menjalani pengobatan.

Hotman mengatakan telah menyampaikan keputusan itu kepada Febrie sekitar dua hari lalu. Meski sempat diminta tetap mendampingi beberapa hari lagi, ia merasa tidak sanggup melanjutkan pekerjaannya.

"Jadi, atas dasar pertimbangan itulah, saya sudah dari dua hari lalu sudah kasih tahu ke klien saya, sekarang jadi mantan, Febrie dan jampidsus, saya mengundurkan diri," kata Hotman, dikutip Kamis (23/7/2026).

Menurut Hotman, pekerjaannya sebagai pengacara menuntut konsentrasi tinggi. Sementara kondisi fisiknya saat ini justru membutuhkan waktu untuk beristirahat agar tidak semakin memburuk.

"Mengundurkan diri sudah ngomong dari dua hari lalu, tapi beliau mengimbau kalau bisa beberapa hari lagi. Tapi kalau otak saya terus mikir dan badan begini, aku takut makin parah," ujarnya.

Hotman mengungkapkan akan berangkat ke Singapura untuk menjalani pemeriksaan dan perawatan medis. Ia berharap kondisinya dapat segera pulih sehingga bisa kembali beraktivitas seperti biasa.

"Jadi, besok Subuh saya mau ke Singapura (untuk berobat). Mudah-mudahan gua gak disuruh opname lagi." katanya.

Ia menjelaskan keluhan yang dialaminya adalah saraf kejepit. Gangguan kesehatan itu disebut sudah dirasakan sejak Juni 2026.

Sebelum memutuskan berobat ke Singapura, Hotman mengaku telah mencoba berbagai metode penyembuhan, termasuk terapi alternatif di kawasan Bojong Gede. Namun, kondisinya belum kunjung membaik sehingga ia memilih mendapatkan penanganan lebih lanjut di luar negeri.

"Saya udah bilang ke dia, karena kondisi kesehatan yang bisa parah, saya sudah memberitahukan beliau saya mengundurkan diri sebagai pengacara dari Bapak Febrie dalam kasus sebagai tersangka di Kejaksaan Agung. Itu intinya," ungkap Hotman.
