JATIMTIMES – Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS ) bukan sekadar agenda penyambutan peserta didik baru. Di MTsN 1 Kediri, kegiatan tersebut dimanfaatkan sebagai ruang membangun karakter, kedisiplinan, dan kesadaran hukum bagi para siswa yang memulai perjalanan pendidikan di jenjang menengah pertama.
Bertempat di Aula MTsN 1 Kediri, Desa Tulungrejo, Kecamatan Pare, Kabupaten Kediri, Kapolsek Pare AKP Wendi Sulistiono bersama anggota Polsek Pare hadir memberikan pembekalan kepada seluruh peserta MPLS kelas VII Tahun Ajaran 2026/2027.

Kegiatan tersebut diikuti Kepala MTsN 1 Kediri beserta jajaran guru dan seluruh siswa baru kelas VII yang tampak antusias mengikuti setiap materi yang disampaikan. Dalam kesempatan itu, AKP Wendi Sulistiono mengajak para siswa untuk menjadikan masa sekolah sebagai tempat membangun prestasi sekaligus membentuk kepribadian yang baik. Ia menekankan pentingnya disiplin, menghormati guru dan orang tua, serta menjaga hubungan yang sehat dengan sesama teman.
Selain itu, para siswa juga diberikan edukasi mengenai bahaya kenakalan remaja, perundungan (bullying), penyalahgunaan narkoba, hingga pentingnya bijak menggunakan media sosial di era digital. Menurutnya, tantangan generasi muda saat ini tidak hanya datang dari lingkungan sekitar, tetapi juga dari derasnya arus informasi di dunia maya.
"Pelajar merupakan generasi penerus bangsa. Karena itu, sejak dini mereka perlu dibekali pemahaman tentang disiplin, etika, serta kesadaran hukum agar mampu mengambil keputusan yang benar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari," pesan AKP Wendi, pada Rabu, 15 Juli 2026.
Pada acara tersebut pihak sekolah menyambut baik kehadiran Polsek Pare dalam kegiatan MPLS. Sinergi antara dunia pendidikan dan kepolisian dinilai menjadi langkah positif untuk menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang aman, nyaman, dan bebas dari berbagai bentuk kenakalan remaja.

"Disiplin merupakan kunci keberhasilan dalam belajar maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Kami mengajak seluruh siswa untuk menghormati guru, mematuhi tata tertib sekolah, serta menggunakan media sosial secara bijak," ungkap AKP Wendi.
