Revitalisasi pasar tradisional di Kota Surabaya
JATIMTIMES Surabaya berkomitmen melakukan modernisasi pasar tradisional di Kota Pahlawan. Tujuannya, untuk memberikan kenyamanan bagi masyarakat serta pedagang, sekaligus meningkatkan daya saing pasar tradisional.
Sejalan dengan tujuan tersebut, Pemkot melalui Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman serta Pertanahan (DPRKPP) Kota Surabaya melakukan revitalisasi 16 pasar. Belasan pasar yang direvitalisasi itu sudah ada yang memasuki tahap perbaikan.

Iman mengatakan, secara umum progres revitalisasi belasan pasar tersebut berjalan sesuai tahapan.

Sebagian lainnya masih berada pada tahap pekerjaan struktur, utilitas, saluran, maupun proses pengadaan atau tender, sehingga seluruh pekerjaan berjalan bertahap sesuai jadwal pelaksanaan masing-masing,” kata Iman.
Iman menerangkan, revitalisasi pasar-pasar tersebut bukan hanya untuk meningkatkan daya saing pasar tradisional dan menjadikannya lebih nyaman. Akan tetapi, juga untuk menambah kapasitas stand atau lapak di beberapa pasar, diantaranya seperti Pasar Tembok Dukuh dan Pasar Simogunung.
Namun, lanjut Iman, secara keseluruhan tujuan revitalisasi pasar tersebut untuk meningkatkan kualitas bangunan, sanitasi, drainase, dan utilitas pasar, agar lebih bersih, aman, dan nyaman. Dalam revitalisasi tersebut, Pemkot juga melakukan penambahan fasilitas pendukung lainnya agar pasar lebih higienis, seperti instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL), grease trap (alat penyaring), sentra pemotongan unggas, hingga fasilitas pelayanan pasar lainnya.
“Selain itu juga untuk menata zonasi pedagang dan mengurangi adanya pasar tumpah, agar aktivitas perdagangan lebih tertib dan tidak mengganggu lalu lintas. Di samping itu, juga untuk memenuhi standar pasar rakyat yang lebih modern sehingga mampu meningkatkan daya saing pasar tradisional sekaligus memberikan kenyamanan bagi pedagang maupun masyarakat,” terangnya.
Iman menyampaikan, anggaran yang dibutuhkan untuk merevitalisasi 16 pasar tersebut mencapai sekitar Rp20 miliar. Total anggaran tersebut digunakan untuk peningkatan infrastruktur, perbaikan fasilitas, penataan kawasan, serta pembangunan sarana pendukung yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing pasar.

Iman menambahkan, target penyelesaian pasar dilakukan secara bertahap. Dirinya menargetkan, Pasar Kembang, Pasar Simogunung, Pasar Babaan Baru, dan Pasar Karah akan selesai pada Juli 2026. Sedangkan Pasar Kedungsari, Pasar Kapasan, Pasar Gresik PPI, Pasar Gubeng Masjid, dan Pasar Kembang ditargetkan selesai pada Agustus 2026.
Sementara itu, Pasar Wonokromo, Pasar Genteng, dan Pasar Pucang Anom bakal selesai pengerjaanya pada September 2026. Di samping itu, Pasar Pecindilan, Pasar Dukuh Kupang, dan Pasar Pakis ditargetkan selesai pada Desember 2026.
“Sementara Pasar Tembok Dukuh saat ini mayoritas pekerjaan utamanya telah selesai dan tinggal penyelesaian tahap akhir pada beberapa item,” pungkasnya.
