Mas Dhito saat menyapa murid baru SMP Negeri 2 Ngasem.
JATIMTIIMES Hanindhito Himawan Pramana menyapa murid baru SMP Negeri 2 Ngasem di hari pertama pelaksanaan Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah (MPLS ).
SMP Negeri 2 Ngasem termasuk sekolah baru di bawah naungan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Kediri yang didirikan pada tahun 2023. Murid kelas VII saat ini sebanyak 128 anak dan mengikuti MPLS selama 5 hari.

Penyelenggaraan MPLS bertujuan untuk membantu murid baru menggali dan mengenali potensi diri, mengenal warga sekolah, mengenali kurikulum, serta lingkungan sekolah.
MPLS ini sekaligus menjadi gerbang awal pembentukan budaya sekolah yang aman dan nyaman bagi para murid sejak hari pertama masuk sekolah.
Di hadapan para murid baru yang dalam kunjungannya tersebut bupati yang akrab disapa Mas Dhito ini mengingatkan mereka untuk lebih giat belajar dan mengurangi bermain gadget. "Saya juga ingatkan jangan melakukan bullying, baik secara fisik ataupun verbal," pesan Mas Dhito.
Bullying atau perundungan merupakan perbuatan yang dapat mengganggu mental anak utamanya bagi korban. Salah satunya bisa membuat korban menjadi sering ketakutan atau kehilangan kepercayaan diri.
Di hadapan para guru yang mendampingi, Mas Dhito juga berpesan kepada para murid untuk selalu memperhatikan saat guru tengah mengajar di depan kelas. "Kalau guru sedang ngajar perhatikan, kalian sudah SMP, kalau ada kendala lapor," ungkapnya.

Selain menemui murid baru yang mengikuti MPLS, dalam kunjungannya Mas Dhito juga menemui murid kelas VIII. Menurut Mas Dhito salah satu yang menjadi perhatian dan problematika saat ini yakni murid sekolah membawa motor.
Fenomena anak sekolah membawa motor ini terjadi di banyak daerah termasuk di Kabupaten Kediri. Hal itu pula yang didapati saat berkomunikasi dengan para murid SMP. "Ini yang menjadi dilema dan persoalan yang harus diselesaikan oleh pemerintah dan orang tua murid di seluruh Kabupaten Kediri," pungkas Mas Dhito.(adv)
