JATIMTIMES - Kebakaran terjadi pada gudang mebel di Desa Tamanharjo, Kecamatan Singosari, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, Minggu, 12 Juli 2026. Dugaan sementara, kebakaran hebat yang terjadi pada sebuah gudang mebel tersebut disebabkan karena korsleting listrik.
Komandan Pleton Seksi Penanggulangan Bidang Pemadam Kebakaran Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Danton Damkar Satpol PP) Kabupaten Malang Andik Minarko menuturkan, peristiwa kebakaran tersebut terjadi pada Minggu, 12 Juli 2026 sekitar pukul 02.00 WIB.

"Indikasi sumber api penyebab kebakaran diduga karena arus pendek atau korsleting listrik dari peralatan mebel yang tidak di lepas kabelnya," ujarnya.
Data Damkar mengungkapkan, pemilik gudang mebel dengan luas sekitar 50 meter persegi tersebut bernama Faizal warga Kecamatan Singosari, Kabupaten Malang. "Tidak ada korban jiwa, terkait kerugian material untuk sementara juga belum dapat di hitung karena pemilik pada saat kejadian sedang tidak berada di lokasi," tuturnya.
Kronologi kebakaran bermula pada Minggu, 12 Juli 2026 dini hari. Ketika itu, sekitar pukul 02.00 WIB, warga sekitar lokasi kejadian mendengar suara ledakan dari dalam gudang mebel. Tidak lama kemudian muncul kepulan asap.
Warga kemudian berusaha mencari tahu kondisi gudang yang ternyata waktu kejadian sedang dalam kondisi tertutup dan tidak ada penghuninya. Warga kemudian lari ke jalan raya dan kebetulan melihat ada mobil polisi yang sedang patroli.
Polisi bersama warga kemudian mendatangi lokasi kejadian. "Ketika pintu gudang di buka secara paksa, didapati api yang sudah membesar," imbuhnya.

Kejadian tersebut oleh Kapolsek Singosari AKP Achmad Zainuddin kemudian dikoordinasikan dengan Damkar Kabupaten Malang. "Merespon laporan kejadian kebakaran tersebut, Mako Damkar menerjunkan tiga unit Mobil Pemadam Kebakaran ke lokasi kejadian," ujarnya.
Upaya penanggulangan kebakaran pada saat itu juga turut melibatkan sejumlah personel gabungan. Yakni mulai dari unsur Polsek Singosari, Pemerintah Kecamatan Singosari, PLN, hingga para relawan.
"Penanggulangan kebakaran akhirnya selesai sekitar satu jam setelah petugas melakukan tindakan di lokasi kejadian," pungkasnya.
