Bupati Magetan tidak sekedar melepas ribuan pelari, tapi juga ikut memberikan semangat kepada para bidan dengan ikut berlari.

JATIMTIMES - Dalam upaya mengampanyekan gaya hidup sehat sekaligus memperkuat  pelayan kesehatan masyarakat, Bupati Magetan Nanik Endang Rusminiarti memberikan dukungan penuh terhadap gelaran Fun Run yang diinisiasi oleh Ikatan Bidan Indonesia (IBI) Cabang Magetan.

Acara yang digelar bekerjasama dengan Playon Magetan ini berlangsung meriah ,dipusatkan di kawasan alun-alun Kabupaten Magetan, Minggu (12/7/2026) pagi. Ratusan peserta yang terdiri dari para bidan, tenaga kesehatan, hingga masyarakat umum tampak antusias memadati garis start sejak subuh.

Bupati Magetan Nanik Endang Rusminiarti hadir langsung untuk melepas para peserta IBI FUN RUN di garis start. Nanik mengapresiasi langkah IBI yang menggabungkan kegiatan olahraga dengan edukasi publik.

"Kegiatan seperti ini menjadi momentum penting untuk mendekatkan tenaga kesehatan, khususnya para bidan, dengan masyarakat Magetan," kata Nanik 

Peran bidan di tingkat daerah sangat krusial, terutama dalam mengawal program-program strategis pemerintah di bidang kesehatan. Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi saat ini adalah pemenuhan gizi keluarga dan penurunan angka stunting di wilayah Kabupaten Magetan.

"Jika bidannya aktif bergerak dan masyarakatnya gemar berolahraga, maka program peningkatan kualitas kesehatan di Kabupaten Magetan akan lebih mudah diakselerasi," tambahnya.

Sebab, tugas bidan ke depan tidaklah mudah, terutama dalam menekan angka stunting dan mengawal kesehatan generasi penerus di wilayah Magetan.

"Kesehatan penting. Jika bidannya bugar dan masyarakatnya gemar berolahraga, maka program-program peningkatan kualitas kesehatan di Kabupaten Magetan akan lebih mudah dijalankan," imbuhnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua IBI Cabang Magetan menyatakan bahwa Fun Run ini digelar sebagai bagian dari rangkaian perayaan hari jadi IBI sekaligus bentuk kampanye preventif kesehatan.

"Kami ingin menunjukkan bahwa bidan tidak hanya hadir di ruang bersalin atau posyandu, tetapi juga menjadi motor penggerak gaya hidup sehat di Kabupaten Magetan," tuturnya.

Langkah kaki ribuan peserta di sepanjang rute ikonik kota Magetan pagi itu seolah membawa energi baru bagi kampanye kesehatan daerah. Gelaran ini menjadi wadah yang potensial di Kabupaten Magetan dengan mengawinkan edukasi medis dan kegembiraan di jalanan untuk mewujudkan masyarakat yang jauh lebih bugar dan produktif.
