JATIMTIMES - Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) menggelar Kuliah Umum Pasar Modal Syariah di Universitas Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur, Kamis (3/7/2026), sebagai bagian dari rangkaian Sosialisasi dan Edukasi Pasar Modal Terpadu (SEPMT) 2026 di Provinsi Jawa Timur.

Kepala Eksekutif Pengawas Pasar Modal, Keuangan Derivatif, dan Bursa Karbon OJK RI, Hasan Fawzi, menyebut jumlah investor pasar modal Indonesia telah mencapai 28,1 juta per pertengahan Mei 2026, dengan lebih dari 54 persen berusia di bawah 30 tahun. Jawa Timur mencatatkan 3,1 juta investor, terbesar ketiga nasional setelah Jawa Barat dan DKI Jakarta.

Hasan meluruskan miskonsepsi yang beredar di masyarakat. "Pada kesempatan ini, saya ingin menegaskan satu hal yang sangat penting yaitu investasi saham bukanlah berupa praktik perjudian. Saham merupakan instrumen investasi yang sah, dan dalam konteks syariah juga telah memperoleh legitimasi yang kuat melalui berbagai fatwa Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI). Bahkan, pasar modal syariah telah didukung oleh Sharia Online Trading System (SOTS) yang memastikan transaksi dilakukan sesuai prinsip syariah," kata Hasan.

OJK mengapresiasi pembukaan rekening efek massal oleh mahasiswa UNIDA Gontor. Namun Hasan mengingatkan agar tidak terburu-buru. "Yang tadi sudah membuka rekening, jangan euforia. Jangan karena sudah punya rekening kemudian tanpa pemahaman langsung menginvestasikan modal ke instrumen tertentu. Teruslah belajar dan memahami risiko di balik setiap keputusan investasi yang diambil. Dan yang paling mudah, selalu ingat prinsip 2L, yaitu Legal dan Logis," kata Hasan.

Rektor UNIDA Gontor, Hamid Fahmy Zarkasyi, mengapresiasi kegiatan ini. "Sekarang orang harus bisa mengelola uangnya dengan sebaik-baiknya dalam situasi yang dunia ini penuh tipu daya, penipuan, dan kesalahpahaman. Yang penting saya berharap anak-anakku tidak terjebak dan tertipu karena tidak tahu ilmunya bagaimana investasi secara online. Maka dari itu hari ini adalah hari yang sangat penting bagi kalian semuanya," ujar Hamid.

Selain di Gontor, SEPMT 2026 juga mencakup sosialisasi pasar modal bagi ASN Kota Kediri beserta pencanangan galeri investasi, talkshow di Radio Andika Kediri, serta sosialisasi perdagangan karbon di Bursa Karbon bagi lembaga jasa keuangan dan pelaku industri di Madiun.
