JATIMTIMES - Putaran terbaru negosiasi tidak langsung antara Amerika Serikat (AS) dan Iran resmi berakhir di Doha, Qatar. Meski belum menghasilkan kesepakatan final, kedua negara dikabarkan mencatat kemajuan positif dan sepakat melanjutkan pembahasan dalam waktu dekat.

Juru Bicara Kementerian Luar Negeri Qatar, Majed Al Ansari, mengatakan pembicaraan yang dimediasi Qatar dan Pakistan tersebut merupakan kelanjutan dari proses implementasi Nota Kesepahaman (Memorandum of Understanding/MoU) yang sebelumnya telah dibahas dalam pertemuan di Swiss.

Menurut Al Ansari, para mediator telah menyelesaikan pertemuan terpisah dengan delegasi Amerika Serikat dan Iran. Dari hasil pembicaraan itu, kedua belah pihak berhasil mencatat perkembangan yang dinilai positif.

"Para mediator Qatar dan Pakistan menyelesaikan pertemuan terpisah dengan para negosiator AS dan Iran di Doha hari ini, dengan kemajuan positif yang dicapai pada isu-isu terkait Nota Kesepahaman Islamabad, berdasarkan hasil KTT Danau Lucerne," kata Al Ansari, seperti dikutip dari AFP, Kamis (2/7/2026).

Ia menambahkan, putaran negosiasi berikutnya akan digelar setelah prosesi pemakaman mendiang Pemimpin Tertinggi Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, selesai dilaksanakan.

"Para pihak sepakat untuk melanjutkan pembicaraan pada periode mendatang, dengan pertemuan berikutnya dijadwalkan sesegera mungkin setelah prosesi pemakaman mantan Pemimpin Tertinggi Iran," lanjutnya.

Sementara itu, Wakil Menteri Luar Negeri Iran untuk Urusan Hukum dan Internasional, Kazem Gharibabadi, mengungkapkan bahwa fokus utama pertemuan di Doha adalah membahas implementasi memorandum yang telah disepakati kedua negara.

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Iran juga menyampaikan sejumlah keberatan terhadap langkah Amerika Serikat yang dinilai tidak sejalan dengan isi kesepahaman.

Gharibabadi menyebut Washington diduga melanggar komitmen yang tertuang dalam Klausul 1 memorandum mengenai penghentian perang di Lebanon. Selain itu, Iran turut menyoroti laporan mengenai upaya AS memperkuat kehadiran militer beserta peralatan tempurnya di kawasan Timur Tengah.

Tak hanya itu, Teheran juga memprotes sejumlah pernyataan pejabat Amerika Serikat yang dianggap bernada ancaman dan mencampuri urusan dalam negeri Iran.

Sebagai informasi, Nota Kesepahaman antara Iran dan Amerika Serikat ditandatangani secara elektronik pada 18 Juni 2026 oleh Presiden Iran Masoud Pezeshkian dan Presiden Amerika Serikat Donald Trump. Proses penandatanganan dilakukan dengan mediasi Perdana Menteri Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.

Hingga saat ini, kedua negara masih melanjutkan proses dialog untuk memastikan implementasi seluruh poin dalam memorandum tersebut. Meski sejumlah perbedaan pandangan masih mengemuka, hasil pertemuan di Doha menunjukkan komunikasi antara Washington dan Teheran tetap berjalan dan membuka peluang bagi tercapainya kesepakatan lanjutan.
