JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Surabaya melalui Dinas Pendidikan (Dispendik) telah menuntaskan pelaksanaan Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) jenjang Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri Tahun Ajaran 2026/2027. Setelah proses penerimaan SD rampung, Dispendik kini fokus pada pelaksanaan SPMB jenjang SMP yang telah memasuki tahap afirmasi dan mutasi.
Kepala Dispendik Surabaya , Febrina Kusumawati, mengatakan pendaftaran SPMB SD telah ditutup dan para calon peserta didik yang diterima telah menjalani proses daftar ulang. Secara umum, pelaksanaan penerimaan siswa baru jenjang SD berjalan lancar.

"SPMB SD sudah selesai dan para wali murid yang diterima juga sudah melakukan daftar ulang," kata Febri, sapaan akrabnya, Kamis (25/6/2026).
Meski demikian, ia mengimbau orang tua yang anaknya belum diterima di sekolah tujuan agar segera memanfaatkan pilihan sekolah lain yang masih tersedia, termasuk sekolah swasta di sekitar tempat tinggal.
Menurut Febri, Dispendik telah berkoordinasi dengan sekolah swasta untuk memastikan seluruh anak usia sekolah tetap memperoleh akses pendidikan. Ia juga mendorong seluruh satuan pendidikan memanfaatkan masa libur sekolah untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan, baik dari sisi fasilitas maupun metode pembelajaran.
"Semua potensi yang dimiliki sekolah perlu terus ditingkatkan. Momentum liburan ini bisa dimanfaatkan untuk melakukan pembenahan dan persiapan menyambut tahun ajaran baru," ujarnya.
Sementara itu, tahapan SPMB SMP kini memasuki jalur afirmasi dan mutasi yang telah dibuka sejak dini hari. Jalur tersebut menjadi salah satu tahapan penting sebelum proses seleksi berlanjut ke jalur prestasi dan domisili.
“Jalur afirmasi dan mutasi berlangsung pada 25–26 Juni 2026. Setelah pengumuman dan daftar ulang, Dispendik akan membuka jalur prestasi yang meliputi prestasi lomba, penghafal kitab suci, serta prestasi akademik berdasarkan nilai rapor dan Tes Kemampuan Akademik,” terangnya.
Febri menjelaskan, setelah jalur afirmasi dan mutasi, proses SPMB SMP akan berlanjut ke jalur prestasi. Jalur prestasi lomba dan penghafal kitab suci dibuka pada 27–29 Juni 2026, dengan pengumuman hasil seleksi pada 30 Juni 2026. Selanjutnya, jalur prestasi akademik berlangsung pada 1–3 Juli 2026 dan hasilnya diumumkan pada 4 Juli 2026.

“Tahapan terakhir adalah jalur domisili yang dibuka pada 5–6 Juli 2026, dengan pengumuman hasil pada 7 Juli 2026. Adapun pemenuhan kuota dan daftar ulang dijadwalkan pada 8 Juli 2026,” imbuhnya.
Ia mengimbau para orang tua untuk mencermati kembali seluruh data dan dokumen yang telah diunggah ke sistem, termasuk memastikan pilihan sekolah sesuai dengan domisili tempat tinggal.
“Pemetaan penerimaan siswa SMP masih mengacu pada data Kartu Keluarga (KK) Kota Surabaya. Karena itu, masyarakat diharapkan memprioritaskan sekolah yang lokasinya dekat dengan rumah agar peluang diterima lebih optimal dan sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku,” ujar dia.
Febri berharap seluruh rangkaian SPMB Tahun Ajaran 2026/2027 dapat berjalan lancar sehingga setiap calon peserta didik memperoleh akses pendidikan yang sesuai.
"Kami berharap seluruh proses berjalan baik. Mohon doa dan dukungan masyarakat agar pelaksanaan SPMB tahun ini dapat berlangsung lancar sampai seluruh tahapan selesai," pungkasnya.
