Suasana stasiun kereta api.
JATIMTIMES (Daop) 8 Surabaya menghadirkan fasilitas tayangan siaran langsung pertandingan Piala Dunia 2026 di sejumlah stasiun utama. Langkah ini diambil guna menyambut gelaran sepak bola terbesar dunia sekaligus meningkatkan pengalaman pelanggan yang lebih berkesan selama berada di area stasiun.
Program yang menyulap stasiun menjadi ruang nonton bareng (nobar) yang nyaman ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi strategis antara KAI Daop 8 Surabaya dengan TVRI Jawa Timur. Fasilitas tayangan siaran Piala Dunia tersebut nantinya dapat dinikmati oleh para pelanggan maupun masyarakat luas di tiga titik stasiun utama, yakni Stasiun Surabaya Gubeng , Stasiun Surabaya Pasarturi, dan Stasiun Malang.

Melalui program ini, masyarakat dapat menikmati atmosfer pertandingan sembari menunggu jadwal keberangkatan atau kedatangan kereta api. Demikian disampaikan Manager Humas KAI Daop 8 Surabaya, Mahendro Trang Bawono .
"KAI terus berupaya menghadirkan layanan yang tidak hanya mengutamakan aspek keselamatan, keamanan, dan kenyamanan perjalanan, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman yang lebih berkesan bagi pelanggan," jelasnya di Surabaya, Kamis (11/6/2026).
"Melalui fasilitas tayangan siaran Piala Dunia 2026 ini, kami ingin menghadirkan suasana stasiun yang lebih hidup, interaktif, dan memberikan nilai tambah selama pelanggan berada di lingkungan stasiun," sambung Mahendro.
Ajang Piala Dunia 2026 sendiri dijadwalkan resmi dimulai dengan pertandingan pembuka yang mempertemukan Meksiko melawan Afrika Selatan pada Jumat dini hari, 12 Juni 2026 Waktu Indonesia Barat (WIB). Momentum ini menjadi kesempatan emas bagi para pelanggan KA untuk merasakan atmosfer kemeriahan pesta sepak bola dunia secara bersama-sama di ruang publik yang nyaman, aman, dan mudah diakses.
Menurut Mahendro, kolaborasi dengan TVRI Jawa Timur mencerminkan sinergi positif dalam menghadirkan tayangan berkualitas yang dapat dinikmati oleh masyarakat luas. Selain menjadi sarana hiburan yang inklusif, kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu mempererat kedekatan emosional KAI dengan pelanggan melalui program-program yang relevan dengan minat masyarakat.
Pihak manajemen memastikan berbagai persiapan teknis terus dimatangkan guna menjamin pelaksanaan penayangan siaran Piala Dunia berjalan lancar. KAI Daop 8 Surabaya bersama TVRI Jawa Timur berkomitmen penuh menghadirkan fasilitas dan suasana yang nyaman tanpa mengganggu kelancaran operasional perjalanan kereta api maupun sirkulasi penumpang.

Inisiatif ini sekaligus memperkuat peran stasiun kereta api sebagai ruang publik yang modern, inklusif, dan multifungsi. Seiring transformasi layanan yang terus dilakukan, KAI tidak hanya fokus menghadirkan moda transportasi yang andal, tetapi juga menciptakan pengalaman perjalanan yang menyenangkan sejak pelanggan tiba di stasiun asal hingga mencapai tujuan.
"Melalui program tayangan siaran Piala Dunia 2026 ini, kami berharap stasiun dapat menjadi ruang kebersamaan yang menghadirkan pengalaman berbeda bagi pelanggan dan masyarakat," urainya.
"KAI akan terus berinovasi menghadirkan layanan bernilai tambah sehingga perjalanan dengan kereta api tidak sekadar menjadi sarana mobilitas, tetapi juga bagian dari pengalaman yang nyaman, menyenangkan, dan berkesan," tutup Mahendro.
