JATIMTIMES - Arema FC Academy resmi membuka pendaftaran seleksi terbuka untuk tahun 2026. Program ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam menyiapkan regenerasi pemain sekaligus memperkuat fondasi pembinaan sepak bola usia muda di Malang dan Indonesia.
Seleksi terbuka tersebut diperuntukkan bagi pemain kelompok umur U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 hingga U-18. Melalui proses penjaringan ini, Arema FC Academy ingin menemukan talenta-talenta terbaik yang nantinya dipersiapkan menuju jenjang kompetisi yang lebih tinggi.

Head of Arema FC Academy Riyan Meidy Wijaya mengatakan, seleksi tahun ini dirancang dengan konsep pembinaan yang lebih terstruktur dan berkelanjutan. Fokus utama akademi saat ini berada pada pembentukan tim elite di kelompok usia tertentu sebagai bagian dari persiapan jangka panjang klub.
"Seleksi terbuka ini merupakan ajang bagi kami untuk memulai persiapan berjenjang tim elite. Fokus utama kami ada pada kelompok umur U16, U18, dan U20," ujar Riyan Meidy Wijaya.
Menurut dia, pembinaan akan dimulai dari level grassroot sebagai fondasi utama untuk mencetak pemain berkualitas yang mampu bersaing di level profesional.
Arema FC Academy juga memasang target besar dalam pengembangan pemain muda. Akademi tidak hanya berfokus pada pembinaan dasar, tetapi juga menyiapkan jalur karier bagi para pesepak bola muda agar dapat menembus kompetisi resmi di berbagai kasta.

Seleksi terbuka Arema FC Academy akan berlangsung pada 27 hingga 28 Juni 2026 di ARG Soccer Field, Lawang, Kabupaten Malang. Kegiatan dimulai pukul 07.00 WIB dengan batas usia peserta maksimal kelahiran tahun 2009.

Setiap peserta diwajibkan menjalani proses verifikasi dengan menunjukkan kartu keluarga (KK) asli kepada panitia sebelum mengikuti seleksi.
Sebagai bagian dari fasilitas yang diberikan, seluruh peserta akan memperoleh jersey seleksi resmi serta konsumsi selama kegiatan berlangsung.
Pendaftaran dilakukan secara daring melalui pemindaian kode QR pada brosur resmi atau melalui tautan yang tersedia di bio media sosial Arema FC Academy. Untuk informasi lebih lanjut, peserta dapat menghubungi admin melalui WhatsApp di nomor 0822-2800-7307.
Melalui seleksi terbuka ini, Arema FC Academy berharap dapat menemukan bibit-bibit unggul yang kelak menjadi tulang punggung klub maupun sepak bola nasional.
