JATIMTIMES - Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 1 Kota Malang mengambil langkah proaktif dalam membantu orang tua siswa kelas VI menghadapi proses masuk jenjang pendidikan menengah pertama.
Menjelang berakhirnya tahun ajaran 2025/2026, madrasah tersebut menggelar sosialisasi Sistem Penerimaan Murid Baru (SPMB) SMP Tahun Ajaran 2026/2027 yang diikuti ratusan wali murid serta perwakilan madrasah ibtidaiyah swasta se-Kota Malang.

Kegiatan yang berlangsung di Serambi Masjid Abdul Jalil MIN 1 Kota Malang belum lama itu menjadi ruang bagi orang tua untuk memperoleh informasi resmi mengenai aturan, jalur seleksi, hingga mekanisme penerimaan siswa baru di tingkat SMP. Selain wali murid, acara tersebut juga dihadiri para kepala MIN dan MIS se-Kota Malang serta Kepala Seksi Pendidikan Madrasah Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Malang Abdul Mughni.
Kepala MIN 1 Kota Malang Hj Siti Aisah SAg MPd mengatakan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk pendampingan madrasah kepada peserta didik dan keluarga mereka yang tengah memasuki masa transisi menuju jenjang pendidikan berikutnya. Menurut dia, banyak orang tua yang masih membutuhkan penjelasan terkait pilihan sekolah lanjutan bagi anak-anak mereka.
“Kami ingin membantu menjawab berbagai pertanyaan dan kegelisahan para orang tua yang mungkin hingga saat ini masih mempertimbangkan sekolah terbaik untuk putra-putrinya. Madrasah hadir untuk mendampingi proses tersebut agar berjalan lebih tenang dan terarah,” ujarnya.
Ia menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh sekolah yang dipilih, tetapi juga oleh dukungan keluarga dalam mengembangkan potensi anak. Karena itu, para wali murid diminta tetap memberikan motivasi dan kepercayaan diri kepada putra-putri mereka menjelang kelulusan.
Aisah mengajak seluruh orang tua untuk terus optimistis terhadap masa depan anak-anak. Menurut dia, setiap peserta didik memiliki kemampuan dan kelebihan yang berbeda sehingga tidak seharusnya dibandingkan satu sama lain.
“Kita harus tetap bangga terhadap anak-anak kita dan terus memberikan doa serta dukungan terbaik. Setiap anak memiliki jalan tumbuhnya sendiri. Ada yang menunjukkan prestasinya lebih cepat, ada yang berkembang pada waktu yang berbeda, tetapi semuanya mempunyai potensi yang layak dihargai dan dikembangkan,” tuturnya.

Lebih lanjut, ia menjelaskan bahwa sosialisasi tersebut tidak hanya ditujukan bagi keluarga besar MIN 1 Kota Malang. Madrasah juga membuka kesempatan bagi madrasah ibtidaiyah lainnya di Kota Malang untuk memperoleh informasi yang sama sehingga manfaat kegiatan dapat dirasakan lebih luas.
Pada sesi utama, peserta mendapatkan pemaparan langsung dari Kepala Bidang Pendidikan Dasar Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Kota Malang Muflikh Adhim SE MM. Dalam presentasinya, ia menjelaskan berbagai ketentuan yang berlaku dalam pelaksanaan SPMB SMP Tahun Ajaran 2026/2027, mulai dari jalur penerimaan, persyaratan administrasi, tahapan pendaftaran, hingga proses seleksi yang harus dipahami oleh calon peserta didik dan orang tua.
Paparan tersebut disambut antusias oleh peserta. Banyak wali murid memanfaatkan kesempatan untuk menggali informasi berbagai hal yang berkaitan dengan peluang masuk sekolah tujuan, mekanisme pendaftaran melalui masing-masing jalur, hingga persiapan dokumen yang perlu disiapkan sejak dini.
Melalui kegiatan ini, MIN 1 Kota Malang berharap para orang tua dapat mengambil keputusan pendidikan yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan, minat, dan kemampuan anak. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik mengenai mekanisme SPMB, wali murid diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan proses pendaftaran secara matang sekaligus mendampingi putra-putri mereka melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang SMP dengan lebih percaya diri.
