JATIMTIMES - Kota Batu mencatat lonjakan kunjungan wisatawan selama periode libur panjang 13-31 Mei 2026. Dinas Pariwisata Kota Batu mencatat sebanyak 296.993 wisatawan datang ke berbagai destinasi wisata dan akomodasi perhotelan, membuat akhir Mei sebagai salah satu periode paling ramai bagi sektor pariwisata tahun ini.

Kepala Disparta Kota Batu, Onny Ardianto, mengatakan jumlah tersebut masih bersifat sementara karena belum seluruh pelaku usaha pariwisata menyampaikan laporan kunjungan.

“Grand total sementara untuk kunjungan wisatawan, baik yang memilih menginap di akomodasi hotel maupun yang mengunjungi langsung daya tarik wisata di Kota Batu, tercatat sebanyak 296.993 kunjungan,” kata Onnya, Senin (1/6/2026).

Tingginya angka kunjungan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa Kota Batu masih menjadi salah satu tujuan utama wisatawan saat memasuki musim liburan. Berbagai momentum libur nasional yang berdekatan, mulai dari Kenaikan Yesus Kristus, Idul Adha, Hari Raya Waisak, hingga Hari Lahir Pancasila memberikan dampak positif terhadap sektor pariwisata daerah.

Berdasarkan data yang telah masuk, destinasi wisata masih menjadi penyumbang terbesar pergerakan wisatawan. Selama periode pemantauan, jumlah kunjungan ke berbagai daya tarik wisata di Kota Batu mencapai 259.215 wisatawan.

Sementara itu, sektor perhotelan juga merasakan dampak yang signifikan. Tingkat hunian hotel pada akhir pekan terakhir Mei tercatat hampir penuh, bahkan okupansi harian pada Minggu (31/5/2026) mendekati 96 persen.

“Dari sektor akomodasi hotel, okupansi harian pada hari Minggu tercatat mencapai 95,94 persen. Sedangkan total wisatawan yang menginap selama periode libur panjang ini mencapai 37.778 kunjungan,” jelasnya.

Meski angka kunjungan sudah mendekati 300 ribu wisatawan, Disparta memperkirakan jumlah sebenarnya lebih besar dari yang tercatat saat ini. Sebab, sejumlah sektor pendukung pariwisata belum seluruhnya masuk dalam proses pendataan.

Onny menjelaskan, laporan tersebut belum mencakup kunjungan wisatawan ke sektor kuliner seperti restoran, rumah makan, maupun kafe. Selain itu, data wisatawan yang menginap di homestay dan vila belum seluruhnya terlaporkan karena masih menunggu rekapitulasi dari paguyuban pengelola.

“Data ini belum termasuk wisatawan yang berkunjung ke usaha kuliner dan juga wisatawan yang menginap di homestay maupun vila karena laporan dari paguyuban belum masuk,” tambah mantan kepala Diskominfo ini.

Dengan periode pemantauan yang masih berlangsung hingga awal Juni, Disparta optimistis jumlah kunjungan wisatawan akan terus bertambah. Terlebih Kota Batu masih memasuki masa libur panjang yang diperkirakan berlanjut dengan meningkatnya mobilitas wisatawan menjelang musim libur sekolah.
