JATIMTIMES - Suara takbir mnegiringi penyembelihan hewan kurban di halaman masjid kawasan Perumahan Royal Orchid, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang, Jumat (29/5/2026). Pada momen Iduladha 1447 Hijriah itu, Pondok Rumah Sedekah NU bersama masyarakat dan sejumlah mitra menyembelih dua ekor sapi serta 20 ekor kambing untuk dibagikan kepada ratusan warga dan komunitas sosial.

Sejumlah panitia tampak menguliti sapi, memotong daging, hingga menimbang paket kurban yang akan dibagikan kepada masyarakat. Di tengah aktivitas penyembelihan hewan kurban, Inisiator Rumah Sedekah NU KH Noor Shodiq Askandar, mengatakan bahwa jumlah hewan kurban tahun ini mengalami peningkatan dibanding tahun sebelumnya.

Tahun lalu terdapat satu ekor sapi dan 15 kambing, sementara tahun ini bertambah menjadi dua sapi dan 20 kambing. Ia pun bersyukur jumlah hewan kurban setiap tahunnya bertambah.

 

“Ini alhamdulillah dari masyarakat, dari mitra Rumah Sedekah, juga dari sahabat-sahabat yang ikut peduli. Ada yang berkurban, ada juga yang bersedekah kambing,” kata KH Noor Shodiq Askandar.

Menurutnya, semangat Iduladha tidak hanya tentang menyembelih hewan kurban, tetapi juga menumbuhkan kepedulian sosial di tengah masyarakat. Karena itu, distribusi daging kurban tidak hanya dibagikan kepada warga sekitar, tetapi juga disalurkan melalui komunitas relawan yang selama ini aktif mendampingi masyarakat miskin.

“Kami bekerja sama dengan Laskar Sedekah, Relawan Anak Bangsa, dan komunitas lain supaya distribusinya benar-benar sampai kepada mereka yang membutuhkan,” imbuh KH Noor Shodiq Askandar.

Dari seluruh hewan kurban yang disembelih, panitia menyiapkan sekitar 900 paket daging untuk dibagikan. Sebagian kambing sedekah juga diserahkan utuh kepada komunitas relawan untuk diolah dan dibagikan kembali kepada masyarakat binaan mereka.

KH Noor Shodiq menegaskan, pihaknya juga sangat berhati-hati dalam proses pelaksanaan kurban, mulai dari memastikan akad hingga status hewan apakah termasuk kurban wajib, sunnah, atau sesedekah.

“Kami selalu tanyakan akadnya. Karena kurban dan sedekah itu berbeda. Kalau sedekah, penyalurannya bisa lebih fleksibel sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat,” jelasnya.

Ia berharap Iduladha tahun ini menjadi momentum memperkuat rasa kepedulian dan kebersamaan antarwarga. Menurutnya, nilai pengorbanan yang dicontohkan Nabi Ibrahim harus dimaknai lebih luas sebagai bentuk keikhlasan membantu sesama.

“Kalau Nabi Ibrahim rela mengorbankan anaknya karena perintah Tuhan, maka kita mestinya juga rela menyisihkan sebagian harta kita untuk membantu orang lain. Harta itu bukan sepenuhnya milik kita, ada hak orang lain di dalamnya,” tutup KH Noor Shodiq Askandar.
