JATIMTIMES – Sejumlah bangunan kosong di kawasan Simpang Empat Patih Kota Batu mulai dibongkar bertahap, Selasa (26/5/2026). Pembersihan bangunan lapak di tanah aset Pemkot Batu itu membuat cemas puluhan pedagang yang masih aktif mencari nafkah di area tersebut.
Para pelaku usaha mikro ini mengaku dirundung waswas karena hingga kini belum mengantongi kepastian atau solusi tempat relokasi yang konkret.

Meskipun sosialisasi rencana proyek pelebaran jalan telah diterima sejak dua bulan lalu, sejumlah pedagang merasa mereka sebagai warga yang taat menunaikan kewajiban daerah belum sepenuhnya diakomodasi.
Rasa panik kian memuncak saat alat berat mulai diterjunkan di lapangan untuk merobohkan bangunan non-aktif. Sementara tempat pemindahan sementara untuk keberlanjutan usaha mereka masih simpang siur.
“Kami sudah waswas dan sangat khawatir sejak mendengar kabar pembongkaran ini. Apalagi tadi sempat kaget dikira lapak aktif langsung digusur padahal barang-barang salon belum sempat dipindahkan,” ungkap pelaku usaha Salon Dian, Wiwik Kusniati, Selasa (26/5/2026).
Wiwik membeberkan bahwa dirinya dan beberapa rekan pedagang lain sudah menempati kawasan tersebut selama lebih dari belasan hingga puluhan tahun. Selama masa pemanfaatan lahan, ia menegaskan tidak menggunakan fasilitas negara secara cuma-cuma, melainkan rutin membayar kontribusi biaya sewa lahan secara resmi kepada pihak kelurahan atau kecamatan dengan nilai mencapai lebih dari Rp2 juta per tahun.
Tuntutan utama dari sekitar 27 pelaku usaha yang masih aktif bertahan di kawasan konservasi tersebut sebenarnya sangat sederhana, yakni kepastian wadah untuk menyambung hidup. Mereka mengaku mendukung penuh program pembangunan infrastruktur daerah, asalkan pemerintah bersedia memfasilitasi pemindahan lapak kerja ke lahan milik negara lainnya. Salah satunya seperti opsi pemanfaatan lahan milik PDAM.
“Kami tidak meminta bantuan lain, kami hanya meminta pemerintah memberikan solusi tempat pengganti yang layak agar kami bisa tetap bekerja mencari makan,” ujar dia.

Ketidakpastian ini diperparah oleh janji dari pihak otoritas kecamatan yang sebelumnya menyatakan akan memfasilitasi pertemuan formal antara perwakilan pedagang dengan jajaran Pemerintah Kota Batu untuk membahas skema pemindahan.
Namun, hingga pembersihan lahan mulai menyentuh area protokol, surat undangan koordinasi di balai kota yang dinanti-nanti warga tak kunjung diterima.
Kondisi tersebut membuat spekulasi dan keresahan di internal paguyuban pedagang menggelinding liar tanpa arah yang jelas. Para pelaku usaha kecil ini berharap pemangku kebijakan di Pemkot Batu tidak menutup mata dan dapat segera memberikan kepastian ruang relokasi sebelum tenggat waktu pengerjaan fisik dimulai pada akhir Juni mendatang.
“Prinsipnya kami siap pindah dan membagi barang-barang untuk dibawa pulang, tapi tolonglah. Kami hanya menunggu janji undangan dari Pemkot Batu untuk kejelasan nasib tempat lain setidaknya ada untuk kami selanjutnya,” pungkas Wiwik.
