WhatsApp Web Error Pagi Ini, Tiba-tiba Dialihkan ke Facebook? Begini Cara Mengatasinya

JATIMTIMES - Layanan WhatsApp Web dilaporkan mengalami gangguan pada Rabu (20/5/2026) pagi. Sejumlah pengguna mengeluhkan tidak bisa login ke WhatsApp Web karena halaman yang muncul justru mengarah ke Facebook.

Keluhan ramai bermunculan di media sosial sejak sekitar pukul 06.00 WIB. Tidak hanya pengguna di Indonesia, gangguan serupa juga dilaporkan terjadi di beberapa negara lain.

Berdasarkan pantauan situs pemantau layanan digital Downdetector, laporan terkait gangguan WhatsApp meningkat pagi ini. Puncak laporan eror disebut terjadi sekitar pukul 07.00 WIB dengan ratusan pengguna melaporkan masalah akses.

Mayoritas pengguna mengaku tidak bisa membuka halaman login WhatsApp Web seperti biasanya. Sebagian lainnya mengalami kendala saat memindai QR code hingga proses passkey login gagal. 

Beberapa pengguna X juga mengeluhkan erornya WhatsApp Web di beranda mereka. 

"INI GIMANA CARANYA BUKA WHATSAPP DI KOMPUTER/LAPTOP??? Buka whatsapp web atau yg di desktop malah kehubung sama facebook," tulis akun X @tanyarl**.

Keluhan serupa juga disampaikan pengguna lain yang bingung karena aplikasi desktop WhatsApp tiba-tiba menampilkan halaman Facebook.

"Ini kenapa gw buka WhatsApp di laptop malah yang kebuka Facebook? WhatsApp Web lagi down kah?," tulis akun @jopaij**.

Media internasional Hindustan Times juga melaporkan sebagian pengguna mengalami masalah login hingga error saat proses pemindaian passkey di WhatsApp Web.

Meski begitu, sejumlah pengguna membagikan beberapa cara yang diklaim cukup ampuh untuk mengatasi gangguan tersebut sementara waktu.

Salah satu metode yang banyak dicoba adalah menghapus cookies browser lebih dulu, lalu menutup aplikasi WhatsApp Desktop melalui Task Manager sebelum membukanya kembali.

Caranya:
• Tekan tombol Ctrl + Alt + Del pada keyboard
• Buka Task Manager
• Cari aplikasi WhatsApp lalu klik End Task
• Setelah itu buka kembali WhatsApp Desktop atau WhatsApp Web

Selain itu, ada juga pengguna yang berhasil login kembali setelah keluar dari perangkat tertaut di ponsel.

Langkahnya:
• Buka WhatsApp di HP
• Masuk ke menu Perangkat Tertaut
• Logout semua perangkat yang terhubung
• Setelah itu coba login ulang ke WhatsApp Web menggunakan QR code

Beberapa pengguna lain juga menyarankan untuk membersihkan cache browser, mengganti browser sementara, atau mencoba mode incognito atau private window agar halaman login kembali normal.
