JATIMTIMES – Seorang pria bernama Abdur Rasid (29), warga Desa Cottok, Kecamatan Kapongan, Kabupaten Situbondo, yang sempat dilaporkan hilang di kawasan semak belukar pinggir Sungai Sampean Baru, Desa Kotakan, Kecamatan Situbondo, Jumat (15/5/2026) malam, akhirnya ditemukan dalam keadaan selamat.
Korban diketahui memiliki riwayat gangguan kejiwaan berupa depresi. Kondisi tersebut membuat keluarga dan petugas bergerak cepat setelah menerima laporan orang hilang pada sekitar pukul 17.00 WIB.

Kepala Pelaksana (Kalaksa) BPBD Kabupaten Situbondo, Timbul Surjanto, melalui Koordinator Pusdalops PB BPBD Kabupaten Situbondo, Puriyono, menjelaskan bahwa peristiwa bermula saat korban dibonceng ayah angkatnya, Fauzi, menuju kawasan Ramayana Situbondo.
Saat melintas di Jalan Raya Kotakan, tepat di sekitar Sungai Sampean Baru, korban tiba-tiba melompat dari sepeda motor dan berlari menuju semak belukar di tepi sungai. "Korban langsung dikejar oleh ayah angkatnya, namun tidak berhasil ditemukan karena masuk ke area semak yang cukup lebat," kata Puriyono.
Dalam keadaan panik, Fauzi meminta bantuan warga sekitar. Informasi tersebut kemudian diteruskan kepada petugas untuk dilakukan pencarian secara menyeluruh.
Tim gabungan yang diterjunkan terdiri dari anggota Pusdalops dan Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) BPBD Situbondo, personel Polsek Situbondo, Koramil Situbondo, Pemerintah Desa Kotakan, warga setempat, serta Taruna Siaga Bencana (Tagana) Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Situbondo.
Saat pencarian berlangsung, seorang warga Kalibagor bernama Tiku melaporkan melihat seseorang dengan ciri-ciri yang sama seperti foto korban yang telah beredar di media sosial.
Mendapat informasi tersebut, tim SAR gabungan langsung bergerak menuju lokasi yang dimaksud. Sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB, Abdur Rasid berhasil ditemukan dalam kondisi selamat.

Korban kemudian dievakuasi ke rumah Darmana, anggota Kodim Situbondo, sebelum dipertemukan dengan kedua orang tuanya. "Setelah dipastikan benar bahwa yang ditemukan adalah Abdur Rasid, korban selanjutnya dibawa pulang ke rumahnya di Desa Cottok, Kecamatan Kapongan," ujar Puriyono.
Dalam kejadian tersebut tidak terdapat korban luka maupun korban jiwa. Selain itu, tidak ada kerusakan material atau kerugian materiil yang ditimbulkan.
Puriyono menambahkan, kondisi cuaca yang cerah berawan sangat membantu proses penyisiran sehingga korban dapat ditemukan hanya dalam waktu sekitar tiga jam.
BPBD Situbondo mengapresiasi sinergi seluruh unsur, termasuk Tagana Dinsos Situbondo dan masyarakat setempat, yang bergerak cepat hingga korban berhasil ditemukan dengan selamat.
