Hantavirus Tidak Ditemukan di Kabupaten Malang, Dinkes Imbau Masyarakat Jaga Kebersihan dan Basmi Tikus

JATIMTIMES - Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Malang drg Wiyanto Wijoyo menegaskan sebaran hantavirus tidak ditemukan di wilayah Kabupaten Malang. Meski begitu, seluruh masyarakat Kabupaten Malang  tetap waspada dan meningkatkan kebersihan di masing-masing lingkungannya. 

"Belum ada (kasus hantavirus). Untuk dari Kemenkes memang belum ada petunjuk pelaksanaannya," ungkap Wiyanto. 
 
Wiyanto menyampaikan, hantavirus merupakan penyakit yang tergolong zoonosis. Penyebab utama dari hantavirus ini dari urine, kotoran maupun air liur hewan pengerat, utamanya tikus yang terinfeksi. Seseorang yang terkena infeksi hantavirus ini bisa menyebabkan gangguan pada paru-paru atau Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS) atau gangguan pembuluh darah dan ginjal atau biasa disebut Hemorrhagic Fever with Renal Syndrome (HFRS).

"Meskipun belum ada petunjuk pelaksanaan dari Kemenkes RI, tetapi kita juga sudah mencoba untuk mencari tahu terkait dengan hpantavirus. Karena itu kan dari tikus dan adanya dari kapal pesiar," jelas Wiyanto. 

Disinggung mengenai populasi tikus di Kabupaten Malang yang cukup banyak karena luasnya areal lahan pertanian, Wiyanto menyebut kondisi itu juga harus menjadi alasan masyarakat Kabupaten Malang untuk menerapkan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS). 

Wiyanto mengimbau, masyarakat luas Kabupaten Malang harus dapat bertanggung jawab atas kebersihan di masing-masing lingkungannya. Karena ketika lingkungan bersih, maka tikus juga enggan menghampiri lokasi tersebut. 

"Kita harus bertanggung jawab atas kebersihan masing-masing, mulai dari rumah masing-masing, supaya tidak ada tikus. Kalau semisal terindikasi ada tikus, ya dikasih racun tikus," ungkap Wiyanto.

Selain itu, ketika menemukan tikus berada di lingkungan rumah, maka sebisa mungkin untuk segera disingkirkan. Mulai diberi lem tikus, racun tikus, hingga langsung dibunuh. Pasalnya, jika dibiarkan terlalu lama, maka tikus itu dapat menjadi penyebab penyakit selain hantavirus, seperti leptospirosis. 

"Karena kalau di los terus akan menimbulkan penyakit yang lebih berbahaya yakni leptospirosis ith lebih berbahaya lagi. Itu kalau terkena leptospirosis nggak lama ginjalnya rusak, cuci ginjal dan meninggal dunia. Makanya jaga kebersihan lingkungannya masing-masing. Di Kabupaten Malang tidak ada kasus leptospirosis," pungkas Wiyanto.
