Apalagi, Imu-sama sebelumnya digambarkan mampu menjatuhkan karakter kuat seperti Zoro, Sanji, hingga Hajrudin hanya dalam satu serangan.
Jika Luffy muncul di chapter 1182, ada kemungkinan besar Imu-sama kembali teringat sosok Joy Boy. Dalam pertarungan sebelumnya, Imu sempat mengalami kilas balik yang memperlihatkan dirinya tertawa bersama Joy Boy.
Hal ini memunculkan teori bahwa keduanya mungkin pernah memiliki hubungan dekat di masa lalu, sebelum akhirnya berseberangan karena perbedaan ideologi, yakni antara dominasi dan kebebasan.
Tak sedikit juga yang mengaitkan kemungkinan alur akhir One Piece dengan kisah di Skypiea, yang dianggap sebagai gambaran awal konflik besar antara dua sosok dengan masa lalu yang saling terhubung.
Pertemuan antara Luffy dan Imu-sama pun diprediksi akan menjadi salah satu momen paling menentukan dalam cerita chapter terbaru ini. Namun, dengan kekuatan yang ada saat ini, banyak yang memperkirakan Luffy masih akan menghadapi pertarungan yang sangat berat.
