JATIMTIMES – Puluhan warga Desa Giripurno kembali melakukan aksi massa atau demonstrasi terkait dengan masalah sumber mata air. Massa mengepung gerbang kompleks Al-Hikmah International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) Batu di Desa Giripurno Kecamatan Bumiaji, Kota Batu pada Selasa (28/4/2026).
Aksi ini merupakan puncak kekesalan warga atas mandeknya realisasi kesepakatan terkait konflik sumber air dan fasilitas umum (fasum) oleh pihak yayasan. Warga menilai pihak yayasan bertele-tele dalam menjalankan komitmen.

Dalam orasinya, perwakilan warga menegaskan niat mereka untuk mengambil kembali warisan nenek moyang yang selama ini diduga dikuasai pihak yayasan. Terutama terkait akses sumber air untuk kebutuhan anak cucu.
"Mana yang sudah dikerjakan Al-Hikmah? Sampai detik ini kami harus mengepung karena banyak warga desa yang merasa kehilangan sumber mata air," teriak salah satu orator di depan gerbang kompleks Al-Hikmah.
Warga Dusun Sabrang Bendo menyebut telah melakukan upaya komunikasi sebanyak tujuh kali melalui Kades, Camat, hingga pihak yayasan. Namun, hingga empat bulan berlalu, tidak ada progres nyata di lapangan.
Kekhawatiran terbesar warga adalah keberadaan sumur bor yang dinilai mematikan sumber air permukaan. Warga juga menuntut pembukaan jalan sebagai fasum menuju sumber mata air yakni Sumber Samin-Sabrang Bendo yang selama ini ditutup tembok beton Al-Hikmah.
"Kami beri ultimatum paling lama seminggu agar masalah ini tidak berlarut-larut. Jika tidak ditaati, masyarakat sudah siap membawa masalah ini ke jalur hukum," tegasnya.
Sebagai bentuk peringatan, warga memasang banner berisi 14 poin kesepakatan di depan Yayasan Al-Hikmah. Mereka menuntut pihak yayasan taat pada aturan yang berlaku serta komitmen dengan kesepakatan yang sebelumnya sudah ditandatangani bersama dengan Wali Kota Batu Nurochman.
Menanggapi aksi tersebut, Kepala SMA Al-Hikmah Batu, Ahmad Fais yang menemui massa aksi, menyatakan pihaknya baru mengetahui informasi aksi massa pada pagi hari. Ia menyebut perwakilan utama yayasan sedang berada di luar kota.

"Kepala sekolah dan perwakilan yayasan kebetulan sedang ada kegiatan di Surabaya dan LDKS. Kami belum bisa memberi informasi teknis lebih jauh," ujar Fais saat menemui warga.
Meski demikian, Fais menyatakan kesiapan pihak yayasan untuk melakukan pertemuan kembali dengan warga pada pekan depan. Ia mengeklaim pihak yayasan tetap berkomitmen pada proses yang berjalan. Dalam hal ini termasuk menjalankan 14 kesepakatan yang sudah ada. Terkait isu jalan, ia menyebut pihaknya menunggu surat resmi dan siap melakukan pembahasan lebih lanjut pada hari Kamis mendatang.
Meski situasi sempat tegang karena luapan emosi warga, aksi berlangsung kondusif dan berakhir setelah warga membubarkan diri. Warga berjanji akan kembali dengan massa yang lebih besar jika ultimatum satu pekan diabaikan.
