Kegiatan OSMA yang digelar di JSG

JATIMTIMES - Program olahraga sore bersama (OSMA) yang digagas Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember kian mendapat sambutan positif dari masyarakat. Kegiatan yang dipusatkan di kawasan Jember Sport Garden (JSG) ini tidak sekadar menjadi rutinitas harian, tetapi juga bagian dari upaya membangun budaya hidup sehat di tengah masyarakat, baik bagi kalangan umum maupun Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN).

Setiap hari, mulai pukul 14.00 hingga 16.00 WIB, kawasan JSG dipadati warga yang antusias mengikuti berbagai aktivitas olahraga. Mulai dari jogging, senam bersama, hingga latihan kebugaran lainnya, semua dilakukan secara terbuka dan gratis.

Program ini dirancang sebagai langkah nyata pemerintah daerah dalam mendorong masyarakat agar lebih aktif bergerak dan menjadikan olahraga sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup.

Kepala Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (Disporabudpar) Jember, Bobby Arie Sandy, menegaskan bahwa kegiatan ini memiliki tujuan jangka panjang, tidak hanya pada aspek kesehatan, tetapi juga pembinaan karakter dan prestasi generasi muda.

“Olahraga sore bersama ini bukan hanya kegiatan seremonial, tetapi bagian dari strategi kami membangun kebiasaan hidup sehat di masyarakat. Kami ingin olahraga menjadi kebutuhan, bukan sekadar pilihan,” ujar Bobby.

Ia juga menambahkan bahwa sektor olahraga memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung prestasi pelajar, terutama dalam membuka peluang melalui jalur prestasi ke jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi.

“Melalui pembiasaan ini, kami berharap muncul bibit-bibit atlet dari kalangan pelajar. Olahraga bisa menjadi jalan alternatif selain akademik untuk meraih masa depan yang lebih baik,” tambahnya.

Selain itu, pengembangan kawasan JSG juga diarahkan menjadi ikon kebanggaan daerah. Pemerintah Kabupaten Jember menargetkan JSG dapat berkembang layaknya pusat aktivitas publik yang terintegrasi, menyerupai konsep Gelora Wisnu Kencana (GWK) di Bali, dengan fasilitas olahraga yang lengkap serta dukungan sektor ekonomi masyarakat.

Kehadiran program ini juga berdampak pada peningkatan aktivitas ekonomi di sekitar kawasan. Pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) mulai merasakan manfaat dari ramainya pengunjung yang datang setiap sore. Mulai dari penjual makanan, minuman, hingga perlengkapan olahraga, semuanya ikut meramaikan kawasan JSG.

Dengan konsep terbuka untuk umum, olahraga sore bersama diharapkan mampu menjadi ruang interaksi sosial yang sehat dan produktif. Pemerintah optimistis, melalui program ini, masyarakat Jember tidak hanya semakin sehat secara fisik, tetapi juga tumbuh menjadi komunitas yang aktif, produktif, dan berdaya saing (*)
