JATIMTIMES - Dinas Perhubungan Kota Malang mulai bergerak melakukan pembersihan halte di depan SMAN 1 Malang, Senin 27 April 2026. Langkah ini menjadi respons atas inisiatif komunitas yang lebih dulu memperbaiki dan mengecat halte secara mandiri di kawasan Veteran.
Kepala Bidang (Kabid) Lalu Lintas Dishub Kota Malang Muhammad Anis Januar mengakui, gerakan masyarakat tersebut memantik semangat pihaknya untuk ikut ambil bagian. Aksi komunitas dinilai menjadi contoh positif dalam merawat fasilitas publik yang selama ini kerap terabaikan.

“Antara lain iya (respons komunitas). Kami berterima kasih, ini bagus. Makanya kami juga tidak mau kalah, kami lakukan hal yang sama,” ujarnya.
Dalam pelaksanaannya, Dishub melakukan pembersihan sederhana dengan keterbatasan yang ada. Tanpa dukungan anggaran khusus, petugas hanya fokus membersihkan kotoran dan menghilangkan coretan vandalisme yang merusak tampilan halte.
“Karena tidak ada anggaran, ya yang bisa kita lakukan maksimal dibersihkan. Vandalisme kita coba hilangkan, mungkin pakai thinner kalau masih bisa,” jelasnya.
Anis menegaskan, ke depan pihaknya tidak ingin berjalan sendiri dalam menjaga fasilitas publik. Kolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak menjadi opsi yang didorong agar perawatan halte bisa dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dan lebih maksimal.
“Kami ingin kolaborasi. Teman-teman komunitas akan kami undang, kita apresiasi, lalu kita kerja bareng lagi di halte-halte lainnya,” katanya.

Ia juga mengungkapkan kondisi halte di Kota Malang yang masih memerlukan perhatian serius. Dari total 37 halte yang ada, sebagian besar membutuhkan pembersihan bahkan perbaikan agar kembali layak digunakan masyarakat.
Meski demikian, Dishub memilih langkah awal yang realistis dengan melakukan pembersihan sebagai bentuk penanganan cepat. Upaya ini sekaligus menjadi pintu masuk membangun gerakan bersama di tengah keterbatasan anggaran.
“Ini bagian dari kreativitas di tengah keterbatasan. Yang penting kita mulai dulu, bareng-bareng dengan masyarakat,” tandasnya.
