JATIMTIMES - Bulan Mei 2026 bisa dibilang sebagai salah satu bulan “emas” bagi masyarakat Indonesia yang menantikan waktu istirahat lebih panjang. Pasalnya, pemerintah melalui Surat Keputusan Bersama (SKB) 3 Menteri telah menetapkan sejumlah hari libur nasional dan cuti bersama yang tersebar sepanjang bulan ini.

Tak hanya itu, posisi beberapa tanggal merah yang berdekatan dengan akhir pekan juga membuka peluang long weekend. Ini tentu menjadi kesempatan ideal untuk merencanakan liburan, quality time bersama keluarga, atau sekadar rehat dari rutinitas harian.

Daftar Lengkap Libur Nasional Mei 2026

Mengacu pada SKB 3 Menteri, terdapat empat hari libur nasional di bulan Mei 2026, yaitu:

• Jumat, 1 Mei 2026: Hari Buruh Internasional

• Kamis, 14 Mei 2026: Kenaikan Yesus Kristus

• Rabu, 27 Mei 2026: Iduladha 1447 Hijriah

• Minggu, 31 Mei 2026: Hari Raya Waisak 2570 BE

Keempat hari besar ini mencerminkan keberagaman budaya dan agama di Indonesia, sekaligus menjadi momentum penting bagi masing-masing umat untuk menjalankan ibadah atau memperingati peristiwa keagamaan.

Jadwal Cuti Bersama Mei 2026

Pemerintah juga menetapkan dua hari cuti bersama yang berdekatan dengan hari libur nasional, yaitu:

• Jumat, 15 Mei 2026: Cuti bersama Kenaikan Yesus Kristus

• Kamis, 28 Mei 2026: Cuti bersama Iduladha 1447 Hijriah

Dengan adanya cuti bersama ini, durasi libur menjadi lebih panjang, terutama bagi pekerja yang mendapatkan fasilitas libur tambahan dari perusahaan.

Rangkaian Long Weekend yang Bisa Dimanfaatkan

Salah satu hal yang paling dinantikan dari kalender Mei 2026 adalah hadirnya beberapa long weekend. Berikut rinciannya:

1. Long Weekend Hari Buruh

• Jumat, 1 Mei: Hari Buruh

• Sabtu, 2 Mei: Libur akhir pekan
