JATIMTIMES - Harga bahan pokok di Kota Malang mulai merangkak naik dan memicu kekhawatiran masyarakat. Pemerintah Kota Malang bergerak cepat dengan menyiapkan langkah antisipasi agar lonjakan tidak semakin meluas.
Wali Kota Malang Wahyu Hidayat mengatakan, pihaknya saat ini tengah mengintensifkan pembahasan bersama Tim Pengendalian Inflasi Daerah (TPID). Koordinasi juga dilakukan dengan pemerintah pusat untuk menyelaraskan kebijakan pengendalian harga.

“Ya, kemarin dan hari ini kita rapatkan TPID yang dipimpin Mendagri. Kita mengantisipasi karena dampak global membuat harga bahan pokok mulai merayap naik,” ujar Wahyu.
Ia menegaskan, arah kebijakan yang akan diambil masih menunggu instruksi lanjutan dari pemerintah pusat. Dalam waktu dekat, koordinasi lanjutan juga akan kembali digelar secara daring.
“Setelah ini saya akan ikut Zoom lagi untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah apa yang harus kita lakukan,” imbuhnya.
Sambil menunggu arahan tersebut, TPID Kota Malang mulai menyiapkan sejumlah langkah awal. Salah satunya dengan melakukan pemantauan langsung ke pasar tradisional guna memastikan kondisi riil di lapangan.
“Kita akan cek langsung ke pasar, melihat harga apa saja yang naik drastis dan mencari tahu penyebabnya,” jelas Wahyu.
Berdasarkan pantauan sementara, kenaikan harga memang sudah mulai terlihat meski belum merata. Pemerintah ingin memastikan data yang lebih akurat sebelum mengambil langkah intervensi.
“Selama ini pantauan kita memang ada sedikit kenaikan. Tapi nanti kita pastikan lagi saat peninjauan langsung,” katanya.
Menurutnya, setiap kebijakan akan disesuaikan dengan penyebab kenaikan harga. Hal ini penting agar intervensi yang dilakukan benar-benar efektif dan tepat sasaran. Pemerintah daerah juga berupaya menjaga daya beli masyarakat agar tetap stabil di tengah tekanan harga yang terus meningkat.

“Kita menunggu arahan pusat agar intervensi yang dilakukan tepat, sehingga daya jangkau beli masyarakat tetap terjaga,” tuturnya.
Wahyu mengakui, faktor global menjadi salah satu penyebab utama kenaikan harga, termasuk konflik yang terjadi di Timur Tengah. “Ya, salah satunya memang dampak dari Timur Tengah,” ungkapnya.
Sebagai langkah lanjutan, Pemkot Malang membuka opsi pemberian subsidi untuk sejumlah komoditas. Skema tersebut disiapkan melalui Belanja Tidak Terduga (BTT), dengan tetap mempertimbangkan regulasi dari pemerintah pusat.
“Intervensi bisa melalui subsidi agar harga bisa ditekan. Kita siapkan dari BTT, tapi tetap menunggu arahan apakah itu diperbolehkan,” jelas Wahyu.
Ia menambahkan, pemanfaatan BTT tidak hanya terbatas pada kondisi darurat bencana, tetapi juga dapat digunakan untuk menjaga stabilitas ekonomi daerah. “BTT ini untuk kegiatan tertentu, termasuk menjaga stabilitas perekonomian,” pungkasnya.
