JATIMTIMES – Belum jelasnya nasib wahana bianglala Alun-Alun Kota Batu menuai sorotan tajam dari kalangan legislatif. Di tengah rencana mengganti baru yang tak kunjung bisa terealisasi, Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Batu didesak untuk tidak abai terhadap pemeliharaan fisik wahana ikonik tersebut guna menghindari risiko kecelakaan di pusat keramaian.

Anggota Komisi B DPRD Kota Batu Didik Machmud menegaskan bahwa langkah mendesak yang harus segera dirampungkan pemkot adalah penilaian aset. Hingga saat ini, proses tersebut diketahui masih tertahan di Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL).

“Tanpa adanya hasil penilaian aset yang jelas, proses lelang untuk revitalisasi tidak akan pernah bisa berjalan. Kami mendesak pemerintah untuk lebih proaktif mempercepat urusan administrasi ini agar status aset tidak terus-menerus menggantung,” ujar Didik.

Selain persoalan birokrasi, Didik menyoroti faktor keamanan konstruksi bianglala yang kini mangkrak sejak tahun 2022. Mengingat lokasinya berada di jantung aktivitas Wisata Kota Batu, kondisi fisik wahana tersebut dinilai memiliki risiko tinggi jika dibiarkan tanpa pengawasan berkala.

Ia meminta dinas terkait melakukan audit konstruksi secara rutin, termasuk uji keletihan material (material fatigue) tanpa harus menunggu pemenang lelang ditentukan. Hal ini menjadi krusial mengingat kondisi cuaca ekstrem yang sering melanda wilayah Malang Raya belakangan ini.

“Konstruksi besi dan mekanisnya harus dipastikan tetap kokoh. Jangan sampai menunggu ada kejadian baru bertindak. Jika memang hasil audit menyatakan struktur bangunan sudah tidak layak dan berisiko ambruk, maka opsi pembongkaran harus segera diambil demi keselamatan masyarakat,” tegasnya.

Di sisi lain, mangkraknya bianglala Batu sangat disayangkan karena hilangnya potensi pendapatan asli daerah (PAD). Padahal, jika dikelola secara optimal dengan standar keamanan yang mumpuni, wahana ini merupakan magnet utama bagi wisatawan.

Menurut pantauan dewan, daya tarik bianglala dengan harga tiket terjangkau mampu menyedot ratusan pengunjung setiap akhir pekan (weekend). Namun, potensi ekonomi tersebut kini menguap begitu saja lantaran lambannya eksekusi perbaikan.

“Potensinya sangat besar, terutama saat Sabtu dan Minggu. Sekarang pilihannya hanya dua: segera selesaikan administrasinya agar bisa dikelola kembali secara aman, atau bongkar jika memang sudah membahayakan publik,” pungkas Didik.
