JATIMTIMES - Peringatan Tahun Baru Islam 1 Muharam di Kota Malang dikemas berbeda oleh Ketua Komisi C DPRD Kota Malang, Muhammad Anas Muttaqin. Politisi Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) itu mengajak komunitas Malang Vespa (Malves) untuk menggelar serangkaian kegiatan. 

Mulai dari Sunday Morning Ride (Sunmori), bersih-bersih fasilitas publik hingga kegiatan bakti sosial bersama puluhan anak yatim. Salah satunya dengan mempercantik halte yang menjadi sasaran aksi vandalisme.

“Hari ini kita riding bersama teman-teman Malves. Sekaligus ada beberapa kegiatan sosial, yaitu santunan anak yatim,” kata Anas.

Setidaknya ada sekitar 30 scooterist yang turut dalam event tersebut. Sebelum bersih-bersih fasilitas publik, rombongan ini berkeliling ke sejumlah titik di Kota Malang. 

Selain santunan, komunitas Vespa juga melakukan aksi makeover terhadap salah satu halte. Halte yang sebelumnya dicoret-coret dibersihkan dan dicat ulang agar kembali terlihat rapi.

Anas mengatakan, kegiatan tersebut menjadi bentuk kontribusi komunitas Vespa dalam memajukan Kota Malang. Menurut dia, komunitas Vespa memiliki potensi besar karena anggotanya solid dan terus berkembang.

“Vespa lagi tren dan kita ingin teman-teman komunitas Vespa ini turut berkontribusi dalam memajukan Kota Malang,” ujarnya.

Ia berharap kegiatan sosial dan kepedulian terhadap fasilitas publik tersebut dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Setelah satu titik halte diperbaiki, kegiatan serupa akan dilanjutkan ke halte lainnya. “Nanti ke depan secara berkala kita akan lanjutkan di halte-halte yang lain,” jelasnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Umum Malves, Muhammad Nur Amin, mengatakan aksi tersebut merupakan bentuk kepedulian komunitas Vespa terhadap lingkungan.

Menurut dia, komunitas Vespa tidak hanya berkegiatan untuk menyalurkan hobi. Mereka juga ingin membangun kepedulian terhadap kebersihan lingkungan dan ketertiban berlalu lintas.

“Vespa itu menciptakan cinta lingkungan. Berarti kita cinta lingkungan yang bersih,” ujarnya.

Ia menambahkan, aksi pengecatan halte dilakukan sebagai respons terhadap fasilitas publik yang dicoret-coret oleh oknum tidak bertanggung jawab.

“Halte-halte yang sudah dicoret-coret orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab, kita cat ulang. Kami juga ingin menciptakan ketertiban dalam berlalu lintas,” pungkasnya.
