JATIMTIMES - Ada 938 pedagang di enam pasar tradisional di Tulungagung menerima surat teguran dari Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Disperindag) Kabupaten Tulungagung.
Teguran yang dilayangkan ini berkaitan dengan tidak adanya aktivitas jualan meskipun terdaftar sebagai pemilik kios.

Teguran ini menurut Fajar Widariyanto, Kepala Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Tulungagung, dalam rangka upaya mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan kios dan los pasar yang terbengkalai.
Fajar mengatakan surat teguran terbanyak diberikan kepada pedagang Pasar Wage , yakni 563 pedagang, karena banyak kios dan los yang tidak lagi digunakan.
"Surat teguran kepada pedagang yang sudah lama tidak berjualan ini dimaksudkan agar kembali membuka usahanya," ujarnya.
Selain itu, jika dalam masa teguran ini tetap tidak direspon maka pemilik kios diharapkan untuk mengembalikan Surat Izin Tempat Usaha (SITU) jika tidak lagi digunakan.
Setelah pemilik kios dan los yang SITU-nya dikembalikan, maka akan dialokasikan kepada pedagang lain.
"Agar aktivitas perdagangan kembali berjalan," sambungnya.
Dari teguran yang dilayangkan, respon pemilih ada yang mengembalikan SITU. Namun, mayoritas masih memilih mempertahankan izin dengan harapan kondisi pasar kembali membaik.

Apalagi di Pasar Wage, yang dahulu sebagai pusat garmen dan konveksi kini menjadi sepi seiring dengan persaingan dengan pedagang online.
Tak tinggal diam, Disperindag terus menyiapkan langkah untuk menghidupkan kembali pasar tradisional, meski revitalisasi fisik dinilai membutuhkan anggaran yang cukup besar.
"Tentu saja, kami mencari solusi dengan berbagai kajian dan semoga ada cara yang efektif agar aktivitas perdagangan di pasar tradisional kembali meningkat," pungkasnya.
