JATIMTIMES - Kota Malang menutup keikutsertaannya dalam Musyawarah Nasional Asosiasi Pemerintah Kota Seluruh Indonesia (APEKSI) di Medan dengan membawa dua penghargaan. Capaian tersebut diraih melalui ajang Youth City Changers dan Karnaval Budaya, sekaligus menjadi modal untuk memperkuat promosi potensi daerah di tingkat nasional.
Kepala Dinas Kepemudaan, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) Kota Malang Baihaqi mengatakan, delegasi Kota Malang, Rifka, berhasil meraih penghargaan The Best Content pada ajang Youth City Changers. Penghargaan itu diberikan berdasarkan penilaian terhadap kreativitas dan kualitas konten yang dipresentasikan peserta dari berbagai kota di Indonesia.

"Yang dinilai adalah kreativitas para pemuda. Ini menunjukkan potensi yang dimiliki anak-anak muda Kota Malang," ujar Baihaqi.
Prestasi lainnya datang dari Karnaval Budaya APEKSI. Kota Malang dinobatkan sebagai Penampil Terbaik setelah menampilkan pertunjukan yang mengangkat legenda Ken Arok dan Ken Dedes. Penampilan tersebut dinilai mampu merepresentasikan kekayaan budaya lokal sesuai tema Hero Cultural yang diusung dalam kegiatan tersebut.
Menurut Baihaqi, dua penghargaan tersebut bukan sekadar pencapaian seremonial, tetapi dapat menjadi sarana memperkuat branding Kota Malang sebagai kota kreatif yang memiliki potensi generasi muda sekaligus kekayaan budaya.
Ia menilai, keberhasilan tersebut juga harus diikuti dengan upaya berkelanjutan untuk menjaga ruang kreativitas bagi anak muda dan memperkuat pelestarian budaya. Langkah itu dinilai penting karena budaya tidak hanya memiliki nilai sejarah, tetapi juga berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan sektor pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif.
"Budaya harus terus dibangkitkan dan dilestarikan karena memiliki dampak besar terhadap sektor pariwisata, ekonomi, hingga meningkatnya kunjungan wisatawan," katanya.

Selain menjadi ajang kompetisi, Munas APEKSI juga dimanfaatkan Kota Malang untuk memperluas jejaring antardaerah. Dalam pameran yang digelar selama kegiatan berlangsung, stan Kota Malang menarik perhatian sejumlah kepala daerah melalui inovasi teknologi pengelolaan air bersih yang ditampilkan.
Dari forum tersebut, kata Baihaqi, muncul sejumlah peluang kerja sama di bidang pelayanan publik. Pemerintah Kota Malang juga memanfaatkan kesempatan itu untuk mempelajari berbagai praktik yang diterapkan kota lain, mulai dari pengembangan sektor pariwisata, penguatan UMKM agar lebih berdaya saing, hingga peningkatan kualitas layanan kepada masyarakat.
Meski membawa pulang penghargaan dan membuka peluang kolaborasi baru, tantangan berikutnya berada pada tahap implementasi. Berbagai gagasan, jejaring, dan peluang yang diperoleh dalam forum nasional tersebut perlu diwujudkan menjadi kebijakan maupun program yang memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat Kota Malang.
