JATIMTIMES - Jasad seorang pria tanpa identitas ditemukan tergeletak di pinggir Jalan Ahmad Yani, Kelurahan Turen, Kecamatan Turen, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur pada Jumat, 10 Juli 2026. Hingga saat ini, peristiwa penemuan mayat Mr. x tersebut sedang dalam penyelidikan Polres Malang.

"Petugas masih berupaya mengungkap identitas korban sekaligus memastikan penyebab kematiannya," ujar Kasihumas Polres Malang AKP M. Budiono dalam keterangannya yang dimuat JatimTIMES pada Sabtu, 11 Juli 2026.

Budiono menyebut, jasad pria misterius tersebut pertama kali ditemukan warga pada Jumat, 10 Juli 2026 pagi sekitar pukul 09.00 WIB. "Pada saat itu, seorang warga yang hendak keluar rumah melihat korban tergeletak di pinggir jalan," tuturnya.

Awalnya, saksi mengira korban sedang tidur, karena posisinya pada saat ditemukan dalam keadaan terlentang. Namun, setelah dicek bersama warga sekitar, korban ternyata sudah dalam keadaan meninggal.

"Sehingga kejadian tersebut langsung dilaporkan ke Polsek Turen," kata Budiono.

Personel Polsek Turen bersama Tim Inafis Satreskrim Polres Malang yang mendapat laporan tersebut, kemudian bergegas mendatangi lokasi. Polisi kemudian melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP), mengevakuasi jenazah ke rumah sakit, hingga mengumpulkan keterangan dari para saksi.

"Hingga saat ini, identitas korban masih belum diketahui. Petugas juga masih melakukan penyelidikan guna memastikan penyebab kematian korban," ujarnya.

Berdasarkan konfirmasi terbaru dari pihak kepolisian hingga Sabtu, 11 Juli 2026, disampaikan bahwa polisi sampai dengan saat ini masih menunggu hasil pemeriksaan medis. Koordinasi dengan tim medis tersebut dilakukan guna memastikan penyebab kematian korban. "Saat ini kasusnya masih dalam penyelidikan," imbuhnya.

Di sisi lain, pihak kepolisian juga masih mengumpulkan keterangan dari sejumlah saksi. Serangkaian penyelidikan tersebut turut dilakukan guna menelusuri identitas korban.

"Dari hasil pemeriksaan awal, korban diduga merupakan orang yang tidak memiliki tempat tinggal tetap," pungkas Budiono.
