JATIMTIMES - Investasi emas masih menjadi pilihan banyak masyarakat di tengah ketidakpastian ekonomi. Namun, dengan semakin banyaknya merek emas batangan yang beredar di Indonesia, tak sedikit calon investor bingung menentukan produk mana yang paling layak dibeli.

Owner pusatemas.id sekaligus pendiri dan Direktur Utama PGI, Andrew Susanto, membagikan pandangannya soal cara memilih emas batangan untuk investasi. Menurut dia, masyarakat sebaiknya tidak terpaku pada merek semata, melainkan memahami harga emas dunia dan selisih harga jual-beli kembali (buyback).

"Mereka yang mau investasi emas itu bagusnya milih brand apa," ujar Andrew, dikutip Instagram konten kreator Steven Pratama. 

Andrew menjelaskan bahwa langkah pertama yang perlu dilakukan sebelum membeli emas adalah melihat harga emas dunia sebagai acuan. "Sebenernya mereka pertama harus tahu dulu, buka goldprice.org supaya tahu harga emas dunia itu berapa," ujarnya.

Menurut dia, setelah mengetahui harga emas dunia, calon investor perlu membandingkannya dengan harga jual emas yang ditawarkan berbagai merek di Indonesia.

"Pada saat mau beli, bandingkan dengan goldprice itu. Sekarang Rp2.550.000 tuh. Pada saat ini kamu cek tuh yang paling mendekati Rp2.550.000 mana, itu pertama," katanya.

Dengan cara tersebut, investor bisa mengetahui apakah harga emas yang ditawarkan masih wajar atau sudah terlalu tinggi dibanding harga pasar global.

Selain harga jual, Andrew menilai harga buyback juga menjadi faktor penting yang sering diabaikan pembeli.

"Kedua, cek harga buyback dia. Misalnya dia jualnya Rp2.750.000, dia buybacknya Rp2.600.000. Nah itu selisihnya berapa, itu harus diperhatikan," jelasnya.

Semakin kecil selisih antara harga jual dan harga buyback, maka semakin menguntungkan bagi investor ketika suatu saat ingin menjual kembali emas tersebut.

Hal lain yang menurut Andrew wajib diperhatikan adalah reputasi merek emas tersebut.

"Terus yang ketiga, mereknya terkenal nggak? Jangan-jangan dia nulis buybacknya sekian. Begitu kamu mau jual ke dia, tunggu dulu ya. Belum bisa, wah itu bahaya," ujarnya.

Ia mengingatkan investor untuk memilih merek yang memiliki jaringan buyback jelas dan mudah diakses.

"Takutnya, jadi mending cari yang terkenal-terkenal aja," tambahnya.

Meski sering ditanya merek emas terbaik, Andrew mengaku dirinya lebih percaya pada harga emas dunia dibanding nama merek tertentu. "Aku nggak percaya dengan semua brand ini. Aku percaya dengan gold price," katanya.

Menurut dia, selama harga beli mendekati harga emas dunia, investor tidak perlu terlalu khawatir. "Jadi kalau gold price tadi 2.550.000, yang paling dekat dengan gold price mana? Jadi kalaupun dia nggak mau terima buyback, yaudah, lebur aja. Jadi harga gold price," ujarnya.

Namun ketika diminta menyebut satu merek yang layak dipertimbangkan, Andrew akhirnya memberikan jawabannya.

"Galeri 24 bagus cuma susah barangnya. Dapat Antam kalau dengan harga sama dengan website boleh (menjadi) pilihan. Tapi kalau di atas harga website jangan dibeli dulu. Tunggu cari yang jual sama dengan harga websitenya," katanya.

Andrew juga menyinggung soal kemudahan menjual kembali emas dari merek-merek besar yang sudah dikenal luas masyarakat.

"Kalau yang terkenal kayak Antam, terus UBS, Galeri 24 itu kita dengan harga bandar selisihnya cuma 20 ribu," ujarnya.

Menurutnya, merek yang sudah memiliki nama besar biasanya lebih mudah diterima di berbagai tempat pembelian emas.

Sebaliknya, untuk merek yang kurang dikenal, harga buyback sering kali harus disesuaikan kembali ketika dijual. "Brand-brand yang tidak terkenal, kita adjust," katanya.

Adapun saat ini terdapat sejumlah merek emas batangan yang cukup dikenal masyarakat Indonesia. Di antaranya adalah:
• Antam
• UBS Gold
• Galeri 24
• Lotus Archi
• Hartadinata Emas
• King Halim Gold

Selain itu, masih ada sejumlah produsen lain yang juga menawarkan produk emas batangan dengan berbagai ukuran dan sertifikasi.

Pada akhirnya, menurut Andrew, faktor terpenting saat hendak beli emas batangan adalah harga beli yang kompetitif, selisih buyback yang kecil, serta kemudahan menjual kembali saat dibutuhkan.
