JATIMTIMES - Kabupaten Ngawi berhasil menorehkan prestasi membanggakan dalam upaya pencegahan dan penanganan perkawinan anak. Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan Perlindungan Anak Dan Keluarga Berencana (DP3AKB) Kabupaten Ngawi mengumumkan bahwa Ngawi masuk dalam nominasi enam besar dalam ajang Penilaian Kinerja Pencegahan dan Penanganan Perkawinan Anak (PPA Award) Provinsi Jawa Timur Tahun 2026.

Kepala DP3AKB Kabupaten Ngawi, dr Nugraha Ningrum menyampaikan keberhasilan ini merupakan hasil dari berbagai inovasi dan kerja keras kolaboratif di semua lini yang telah dilakukan Pemerintah Kabupaten Ngawi, khususnya dinas yang dipimpinnya.

Bahkan pada tahun 2025, Kabupaten Ngawi telah berhasil meraih zero angka kematian pada ibu melahirkan. "Bagaimana actionnya Kabupaten Ngawi berkomitmen dan konsisten terhadap stop perkawinan anak dengan kolaboratif di semua lini, baik formal maupun non formal," ujar Kepala DP3AKB Kabupaten Ngawi, dr Nugraha Ningrum kepada awak media ini pada Kamis (18/06/2026). 

Ia juga menambah setidaknya ada delapan kriteria indikator dalam penilaian PPA Award, diantaranya regulasi, dokumen perencanaan, kelembagaan, kapasitas sumber daya manusia, stakeholder (pemangku kepentingan), data, inovasi, serta monitoring dan evaluasi (monev). 

"Delapan kriteria itu merupakan satu rangkaian komitmen bersama dari seluruh kegiatan yang dilaksanakan oleh Kabupaten Ngawi," tambahnya. 

Sesuai data pada tahun 2021, di Kabupaten Ngawi telah terjadi pernikahan anak sebanyak 159 kasus dan pada tahun 2025 terjadi penurunan menjadi 116 kasus. Data itu menunjukkan keberhasilan DP3AKB Kabupaten Ngawi dalam upaya menyelamatkan generasi muda dalam kasus pernikahan anak.

Pada kasus pernikahan anak akan berdampak pada kasus anak stunting, angka kematian ibu saat kehamilan dan persalinan, serta kemiskinan. Karenanya, DP3AKB Kabupaten Ngawi akan terus berkomitmen dan berkolaborasi dengan berbagai pihak untuk menggagalkan terjadinya pernikahan anak. 

"Bagi kami angka tidak menjadi satu acuan, tapi bagaimana kita bisa berinvestasi pada kegiatan nyata yang bisa dinikmati lima hingga sepuluh tahun kedepannya dan golnya pada generasi emas 2045" tandasnya.
