JATIMTIMES - Di tengah maraknya aksi demonstrasi yang terjadi di sejumlah daerah, Polresta Malang Kota memilih pendekatan preventif dengan menyasar lingkungan sekolah. Seluruh pejabat utama, kapolsek jajaran hingga Bhabinkamtibmas diterjunkan untuk berdialog langsung dengan pelajar SMA dan SMK guna mengantisipasi kenakalan remaja sekaligus mencegah mereka terpapar informasi provokatif di media sosial.
Kapolresta Malang Kota Kombes Pol Putu Kholis Aryana, mengatakan pelajar merupakan kelompok yang rentan terpengaruh berbagai informasi yang beredar tanpa melalui proses verifikasi. Karena itu, kepolisian berupaya membangun komunikasi dengan pihak sekolah agar para siswa lebih fokus pada pendidikan dan kegiatan positif yang mendukung masa depan mereka.

“Kami menginstruksikan seluruh jajaran untuk hadir di tengah-tengah pelajar. Tujuannya membangun komunikasi, memperkuat pembinaan karakter, serta mengingatkan generasi muda agar tidak mudah terpengaruh ajakan yang dapat merugikan diri sendiri maupun masa depan mereka,” kata Putu Kholis.
Menurutnya, derasnya arus informasi melalui media sosial menuntut generasi muda untuk memiliki kemampuan memilah dan menyaring berbagai konten yang diterima. Ia menegaskan pelajar seharusnya memanfaatkan masa sekolah untuk mengembangkan potensi diri dan meraih prestasi.
“Pelajar harus menjadi generasi yang kritis, cerdas menyaring informasi, serta tidak mudah terprovokasi oleh isu maupun ajakan yang belum jelas kebenarannya. Fokus utama mereka adalah belajar, meraih prestasi, dan mempersiapkan masa depan,” imbuhnya.
Salah satu kegiatan dilakukan Polsek Lowokwaru di SMA Islam Sabilillah, Jalan Kakap Nomor 1, Kelurahan Tunjungsekar, Kecamatan Lowokwaru. Kapolsek Lowokwaru Kompol Anang Tri Hananta bersama personel Binmas dan Bhabinkamtibmas berdiskusi dengan pihak sekolah serta para siswa mengenai berbagai persoalan yang kerap mengancam kalangan remaja, mulai dari penyalahgunaan narkoba, perundungan, balap liar, tawuran hingga bahaya hoaks di media sosial.
Anang mengingatkan para pelajar agar tidak mudah mengikuti ajakan yang berpotensi melanggar hukum hanya karena pengaruh lingkungan atau pesan berantai yang beredar di dunia maya. Menurutnya, masa depan generasi muda dapat rusak apabila mereka terjebak dalam aktivitas negatif.

“Jangan sampai masa depan rusak hanya karena ikut-ikutan kegiatan negatif atau terpengaruh ajakan yang belum tentu benar. Jadilah pelopor keamanan, pelopor kedisiplinan, dan pelopor prestasi,” ucap Anang.
Ia juga meminta para siswa untuk tidak ragu berkonsultasi kepada guru, orang tua maupun pihak berwenang apabila menemukan informasi yang meragukan. Langkah tersebut dinilai penting agar pelajar tidak menjadi korban hoaks maupun provokasi yang dapat berujung pada pelanggaran hukum.
“Jangan mudah terpancing ajakan melalui media sosial maupun pesan berantai yang mengarah pada tindakan melanggar hukum. Jika menemukan informasi yang meragukan, konsultasikan kepada guru, orang tua, atau pihak berwenang agar tidak menjadi korban provokasi maupun hoaks,” tutupnya.
