JATIMTIMES – Dinas Pariwisata, Pemuda dan Olahraga (Disparpora) Kabupaten Situbondo menggelar kegiatan bersih-bersih pantai dalam rangka mendukung program Pantura Asri, Jumat (12/6/2026). Kegiatan ini dipusatkan di kawasan Wisata Pantai Pasir Putih, salah satu destinasi unggulan Kabupaten Situbondo yang berada di jalur Pantura.

Aksi bersih pantai tersebut merupakan bentuk komitmen Disparpora dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekaligus meningkatkan daya tarik destinasi wisata. Pantai Pasir Putih dipilih karena menjadi ikon pariwisata Situbondo yang selama ini banyak dikunjungi wisatawan lokal maupun luar daerah.

Kegiatan ini melibatkan seluruh karyawan dan karyawati Disparpora Kabupaten Situbondo, pengelola Wisata Pantai Pasir Putih, anggota Pramuka, pengurus KONI, serta masyarakat sekitar. Mereka bergotong royong membersihkan berbagai jenis sampah yang berada di area pantai dan sekitarnya.

Kepala Dinas Pariwisata, Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Situbondo, H. Edi Wiyono, mengatakan bahwa kegiatan bersih pantai merupakan bagian dari upaya menciptakan destinasi wisata yang bersih, nyaman, dan menarik bagi wisatawan.

Menurutnya, kebersihan merupakan salah satu faktor penting yang menentukan tingkat kepuasan pengunjung. Karena itu, menjaga kebersihan kawasan wisata menjadi tanggung jawab bersama antara pemerintah, pengelola, masyarakat, dan wisatawan.

"Kegiatan ini kami laksanakan sebagai bentuk dukungan dan partisipasi aktif terhadap program Pantura Asri. Tujuannya untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekaligus mendukung peningkatan kunjungan wisatawan ke Pantai Pasir Putih," ujar Edi Wiyono.

Dalam pelaksanaannya, para peserta menyisir sejumlah titik di kawasan pantai untuk mengumpulkan sampah plastik, ranting, daun kering, serta berbagai jenis sampah lainnya yang berpotensi mengurangi keindahan dan kenyamanan kawasan wisata.

Selain membersihkan lingkungan, kegiatan tersebut juga menjadi sarana edukasi bagi masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan membuang sampah pada tempat yang telah disediakan. Edukasi ini dinilai penting untuk membangun kesadaran kolektif dalam menjaga kelestarian destinasi wisata.

Edi menegaskan, keberhasilan pembangunan sektor pariwisata tidak hanya ditentukan oleh pembangunan sarana dan prasarana, tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kepedulian masyarakat terhadap kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan.

"Untuk menjaga kebersihan, kunci utamanya adalah kesadaran bersama. Menjaga kelestarian destinasi wisata bukan hanya menjadi tanggung jawab pengelola, tetapi juga membutuhkan kesadaran para pengunjung agar selalu menjaga kebersihan lingkungan," jelasnya.

Ia berharap kegiatan semacam ini dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan sehingga budaya menjaga kebersihan dapat tumbuh dan mengakar di tengah masyarakat, khususnya yang berada di sekitar kawasan wisata.

Edi juga menyampaikan apresiasi kepada seluruh pihak yang telah berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan tersebut. Menurutnya, keterlibatan berbagai elemen menunjukkan kuatnya semangat gotong royong dalam menjaga aset pariwisata yang dimiliki Kabupaten Situbondo.

"Kami menyampaikan terima kasih atas kekompakan semua pihak yang terlibat, mulai dari aparatur Disparpora, pengelola wisata, Pramuka, KONI, hingga masyarakat sekitar. Ini menunjukkan semangat kebersamaan dan gotong royong dalam menjaga aset wisata Kabupaten Situbondo," pungkasnya.

Melalui kegiatan bersih pantai dalam program Pantura Asri ini, Disparpora Kabupaten Situbondo berharap citra Pantai Pasir Putih sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan semakin meningkat. Lingkungan yang bersih, asri, dan nyaman diharapkan mampu menarik lebih banyak wisatawan, sekaligus memberikan dampak positif bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat dan sektor pariwisata daerah.
