JATIMTIMES - Rencana pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh yang sebelumnya dijadwalkan berlangsung serentak mulai 8 hingga 21 Juni 2026 dipastikan belum dapat dilaksanakan. Penundaan tersebut berlaku secara nasional, termasuk di wilayah hukum Polresta Malang Kota.

Meski agenda operasi kepolisian tersebut belum berjalan sesuai jadwal semula, Satlantas Polresta Malang Kota tetap mengingatkan masyarakat untuk tidak mengendurkan kedisiplinan saat berkendara. Kepatuhan aturan lalu lintas dan kesadaran dalam menjaga keselamatan di jalan raya dinilai harus tetap menjadi prioritas, meski ada atau tidaknya operasi penertiban.

Kasat Lantas Polresta Malang Kota, AKP Rio Angga Prasetyo, membenarkan adanya perubahan jadwal pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh 2026. Hingga saat ini pihak kepolisian masih menunggu petunjuk lebih lanjut terkait waktu pelaksanaan operasi tersebut.

“Pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh ditunda. Kami masih belum tahu ditunda sampai kapan, karena waktunya masih belum ditentukan,” kata Rio, Senin (8/6/2026).

Ia menjelaskan, keputusan tersebut bukan merupakan kebijakan yang diambil di tingkat daerah, melainkan instruksi yang berlaku secara nasional. Dengan demikian, penundaan tidak hanya terjadi di Kota Malang, tetapi juga diterapkan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia.

“Kebijakan penundaan langsung dari Mabes (Korlantas Polri). Ini tidak hanya Kota Malang saja, melainkan seluruh Indonesia,” imbuh Rio.

Meski Operasi Patuh belum digelar, pihaknya tetap mengedepankan upaya edukasi dan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya tertib berlalu lintas. Kesadaran pengguna jalan menjadi faktor utama dalam menekan angka kecelakaan dan menciptakan keamanan, keselamatan, ketertiban, serta kelancaran lalu lintas.

Menurutnya, kepatuhan terhadap aturan lalu lintas seharusnya tidak hanya muncul saat ada operasi kepolisian. Penggunaan helm standar, kelengkapan surat-surat kendaraan, kepatuhan terhadap rambu lalu lintas, hingga tidak menggunakan ponsel saat berkendara merupakan kebiasaan yang harus diterapkan setiap hari.

Satlantas Polresta Malang Kota juga mengajak masyarakat untuk terus menjadi pelopor keselamatan berlalu lintas. Dengan meningkatnya kesadaran pengguna jalan, diharapkan risiko terjadinya kecelakaan dapat diminimalkan dan tercipta budaya berlalu lintas yang lebih tertib di tengah masyarakat.

Sementara itu, kapan jadwal baru pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh 2026, Polresta Malang Kota masih menunggu arahan resmi dari Korps Lalu Lintas (Korlantas) Polri.
