JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Surabaya telah melakukan normalisasi bangunan Eks Hi-Tech mal per Mei 2026. Selanjutnya, pemkot melakukan penataan di area basement dan lantai dasar gedung legendaris di Kota Surabaya tersebut. 

Kepala Dinas Kepala Dinas Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman serta Pertanahan (DPRKPP) Surabaya, Iman Krestian mengatakan, bagian basement gedung Hi-Tech mal saat ini sedang tahap penyesuaian tata letak ruangan. Mulai dari tata letak galeri, ruangan tenan, penyimpanan barang, dan sebagainya.

“Jadi sudah selesai (normalisasi bangunan) di bulan Mei, terus ada kunjungan dari teman-teman industri kreatif yang akan menempati, dan ada beberapa tambahan permintaan. Kayak ada permintaan untuk tambahan galeri, tambahan area-area penyimpanan barang dan macam-macam, ada beberapa properti yang nanti disediakan tempat penyimpanan,” kata Iman, Senin (8/6/2026). 

Seharusnya, lanjut Iman, pengerjaan tahap tersebut sudah tuntas pada Mei 2026. Akan tetapi, usulan kebutuhan ruangan itu baru diusulkan sehingga membutuhkan penyesuaian lebih lanjut oleh pemkot. 

“Jadi saat ini sudah fit out (penataan ruangan) untuk kebutuhan ruangan-ruangan yang mereka (pelaku industri kreatif) butuhkan,” ujar Iman. 

Iman menerangkan, area basement tersebut nantinya bakal mampu menampung sekitar 40-50 tenan industri kreatif sekaligus food and beverage (F&B). “Untuk F&B itu ada area sendiri, industri kreatif seperti motor custom dan sebagainya itu ada sendiri. Mungkin sekitar 40-50, bisa lebih sih, tapi sementara ada 50 tenan,” terang Iman.

Sedangkan di lantai dasar, Iman menyebutkan, saat ini juga sedang proses pembuatan tempat industri kreatif. Rencananya, area lantai dasar itu digunakan sebagai tempat Koridor space. Selain itu, di area tersebut juga akan ada dibuat tempat ibadah.

“Lantai dasar juga proses pembuatan industri kreatif juga, Koridor yang ada di Siola itu nanti kita pindahkan ke area lantai dasarnya eks Hi-Tech mal. Sama pembuatan masjid baru di situ,” sebutnya. 

Iman berharap, penyelesaian tersebut bisa segera tuntas pada pertengahan Juni 2026, dan semua harus sudah klir pada awal Juli 2026. “Harapannya pertengahan bulan sampai akhir bulan ini, awal Juli harus sudah klir. Karena nanti bulan Juli rencananya ada pesta rakyat Surabaya, dan rencananya digelar di SBEC (Surabaya Expo Center), jadi bersamaan dengan itu,” tandasnya.
