JATIMTIMES - Upaya penyelundupan obat-obatan ke dalam Lapas Kelas I Malang berhasil digagalkan petugas saat pelaksanaan layanan kunjungan, Selasa (2/6/2026) kemarin. Keberhasilan tersebut menjadi bukti ketatnya pengawasan yang diterapkan jajaran Lapas Malang dalam menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban di lingkungan pemasyarakatan.

Peristiwa itu terungkap sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB ketika petugas pemeriksaan badan, Rahajeng Nastiti, menjalankan tugas sesuai standar operasional prosedur (SOP) layanan kunjungan. Saat melakukan pemeriksaan secara teliti, petugas menemukan sejumlah obat jenis suplemen dan multivitamin yang disembunyikan oleh seorang pengunjung wanita di dalam pakaian dalamnya.

Diketahui, perempuan tersebut merupakan ibu dari seorang warga binaan pemasyarakatan (WBP) berinisial N. Obat-obatan yang dibawa tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan yang berlaku di lingkungan Lapas Kelas I Malang.

Setelah menemukan barang mencurigakan tersebut, petugas layanan kunjungan segera melaporkan hasil temuan kepada koordinator layanan kunjungan untuk ditindaklanjuti. Proses penanganan kemudian diteruskan kepada jajaran administrasi keamanan dan tata tertib guna memastikan seluruh tahapan berjalan sesuai prosedur.

Petugas keamanan dan ketertiban selanjutnya melakukan pendataan terhadap pengunjung yang bersangkutan. Sebagai bentuk pertanggungjawaban, yang bersangkutan diminta membuat dan menandatangani surat pernyataan. Sementara itu, barang temuan diamankan untuk keperluan pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.

Tidak hanya berhenti pada pengunjung, pihak Lapas Malang juga melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap warga binaan yang diduga memiliki keterkaitan dengan barang yang ditemukan tersebut.

Kepala Lapas Kelas I Malang, Christo Victor Nixon Toar, menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan penggagalan upaya penyelundupan tersebut menunjukkan kesigapan petugas dalam menjalankan tugas pengamanan dan pelayanan secara profesional.

“Kami tidak akan memberikan ruang terhadap segala bentuk upaya penyelundupan barang terlarang ke dalam lapas. Kami akan tindak tegas dan tanpa kompromi,” tegas Christo.

Sebagai tindak lanjut, pihak lapas telah menjatuhkan sanksi kepada pengunjung yang bersangkutan. “Kami telah berikan sanksi dengan larangan kunjungan selama 3 bulan, serta dilakukan pemeriksaan lanjut untuk warga binaan yang bersangkutan,” tutur Christo.

Christo juga memberikan apresiasi kepada petugas yang menjalankan tugas sesuai SOP sehingga potensi gangguan keamanan dapat dicegah sejak dini. Menurutnya, penguatan pengawasan dan evaluasi layanan kunjungan akan terus dilakukan demi menjaga situasi lapas tetap aman dan kondusif.

“Kami tegaskan kepada masyarakat sebagai pengguna layanan, jangan coba-coba memasukan barang terlarang atau melanggar aturan yang telah ditetapkan. karena kami akan menindak tegas, bantu kami memberikan pelayanan terbaik” tutup Christo.
