JATIMTIMES - Pemerintah Kota Malang melalui Dinas Koperasi, Perindustrian dan Perdagangan (Diskopindag) melakukan perbaikan ringan di delapan pasar tradisional pada tahun ini. Langkah tersebut dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan pengunjung dan pedagang di tengah keterbatasan anggaran.
Kepala Bidang Perdagangan Diskopindag Kota Malang , Ni Luh Putu Eka Wilantari, mengatakan delapan pasar yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan yakni Pasar Tawangmangu, Bunul, Klojen, Mergan, Baru Timur, Kedungkandang, Madyopuro, dan Bareng.

Menurutnya, perbaikan yang dilakukan menyesuaikan kebutuhan masing-masing pasar. Sebagian besar berupa pembenahan fasilitas yang kondisinya sudah mendesak untuk ditangani.
“Beberapa perbaikan ringan karena memang anggarannya terbatas. Tetapi perbaikannya memang pada kondisi yang urgent,” ujar Ni Luh.
Di Pasar Bunul, misalnya, sejumlah pembenahan dilakukan sebagai bagian dari persiapan menuju pasar berstandar nasional. Perbaikan meliputi pengecatan, pengelolaan kompos, hingga pembenahan instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL).
Sementara itu, perbaikan di beberapa pasar lainnya difokuskan pada sarana fisik seperti talang bangunan yang membutuhkan penanganan segera.
Untuk Pasar Klojen, Diskopindag berencana melakukan modifikasi pada salah satu sisi bangunan dengan menambah ventilasi. Langkah tersebut sekaligus diharapkan mampu menghadirkan suasana yang lebih nyaman bagi pengunjung.
“Kalau di Klojen, ada dinding yang akan dibuka untuk ventilasi. Jadi pengunjung bisa melihat pemandangan kereta yang lewat. Harapannya membuat pengunjung lebih nyaman,” kata Ni Luh.

Ia menjelaskan, sebenarnya terdapat lebih dari delapan pasar yang masuk dalam usulan perbaikan tahun ini. Namun kebijakan efisiensi anggaran membuat pemerintah harus melakukan penyaringan terhadap daftar prioritas yang telah disusun.
Karena itu, pasar-pasar yang dipilih merupakan lokasi dengan kebutuhan perbaikan paling mendesak agar aktivitas perdagangan dapat tetap berjalan dengan baik.
“Sebetulnya ada lebih dari delapan pasar yang masuk agenda perbaikan ringan. Namun karena efisiensi, kami filter lagi dan melakukan perbaikan di pasar yang memang urgent,” pungkasnya.
