Selang Gas Diduga Bocor saat Masak Daging Picu Kebakaran Rumah di Malang

JATIMTIMES - Kebakaran terjadi pada sebuah rumah warga di Dusun Suko, Desa Sumberpucung, Kecamatan Sumberpucung, Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur. Kebakaran diduga terjadi saat penghuni rumah memasak daging pada momentum Iduladha 2026.

Kebakaran tersebut juga sempat viral di media sosial pada Kamis (28/5/2026). Berdasarkan rekaman video amatir yang dihimpun JatimTIMES dari sejumlah WhatsApp Group, tampak api yang membubung tinggi saat terjadinya  kebakaran  tersebut.

Komandan Pleton (Danton) Seksi Penanggulangan Bidang Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja (Satpol PP) Kabupaten Malang Andik Minarko menyebut,  kebakaran  terjadi pada Rabu (27/5/2026) malam. "Indikasi sumber api penyebab kebakaran diduga berasal dari kebocoran selang gas elpiji," ujarnya, Kamis (28/5/2026) malam.

Data Damkar mengungkapkan, bangunan rumah seluas sekitar 3 x 5 meter persegi yang ludes terbakar tersebut milik Mintardi (60). "Nihil korban jiwa. Sementara untuk estimasi kerugian material kurang lebih Rp30 juta," ujarnya.

Andik menyebut,  kebakaran tersebut terjadi pada sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB. "Kebakaran terjadi saat pemilik rumah memasak daging lalu ditinggal. Api kemudian diduga membesar dan membakar selang kompor yang kemudian menyambar barang di sekitarnya. Sehingga api semakin besar dan membakar rumah," jelasnya.

Warga yang mengetahui  kebakaran tersebut kemudian berupaya memadamkan api dengan peralat seadanya. Kebakaran tersebut akhirnya dilaporkan ke Damkar lantaran api yang terus membesar.

"Satu unit PMK (mobil Pemadam Kebakaran) kemudian kami terjunkan ke lokasi kejadian," ungkapnya.

Petugas Damkar yang melakukan pemadaman api  saat itu juga turut dibantu oleh sejumlah relawan. "Api akhirnya berhasil dipadamkan sekitar satu jam setelah petugas melakukan tindakan penanggulangan kebakaran. Setelah padam, penanganan dilanjutkan dengan proses pendinginan area guna memastikan situasi telah aman dan kondusif," pungkasnya.
