JATIMTIMES – Pemerintah Kota Batu menaruh atensi tinggi terhadap jaminan kelayakan daging dan kesehatan hewan kurban menjelang perayaan Hari Raya Iduladha 1447 Hijriah. Langkah antisipasi ini diwujudkan melalui pengetatan sistem skrining berlapis, mulai dari pemeriksaan fisik luar (ante-mortem) hingga pemeriksaan organ dalam pasca-penyembelihan (post-mortem).
Pemeriksaan awal di tingkat lapak difokuskan pada pemantauan gejala klinis penyakit menular seperti Penyakit Mulut dan Kuku (PMK), pemberian suntikan vitamin, hingga pemasangan id card sehat sebagai penanda resmi kelayakan ternak. Pedagang yang mendatangkan hewan dari luar daerah pun diwajibkan mengantongi Surat Keterangan Kesehatan Hewan (SKKH) dari otoritas asal.

“Kalau tidak ada dokumen SKKH dari daerah asal, pedagang luar kota akan langsung kami suruh balik demi memastikan Kota Batu benar-benar aman,” tegas Kepala Bidang Peternakan Distan KP Kota Batu, Sri Nur Cahyani Rahayu, saat ditemui JatimTIMES, belum lama ini.
Kewaspadaan tim medis kini justru diperluas pada fase pasca-pemotongan untuk mendeteksi ancaman parasit cacing hati (Fasciola hepatica) yang secara historis paling sering ditemukan pada organ dalam sapi. Penyakit ini menjadi tantangan tersendiri karena tidak dapat dideteksi secara kasatmata selama hewan kurban masih dalam kondisi hidup di tempat penjualan.
Perempuan yang disapa Ani itu menerangkan, bahwa tingginya potensi temuan kasus cacing hati biasanya dipicu oleh faktor pola makan ternak yang kerap dilepasliarkan di padang rumput basah berwujud siput kecil penular larva. Panitia kurban di setiap masjid diimbau untuk jeli melihat perubahan struktur anatomi hati sapi dan tidak ragu membuang organ yang rusak demi keamanan konsumsi warga.
“Kalau sebagian masih bisa disisihkan yang rusak. Tapi kalau memang sudah tidak bagus semua, ya disisihkan semua karena lebih aman tidak dikonsumsi,” tuturnya.
Guna mengawal jalannya penyembelihan di ratusan titik pemotongan yang tersebar di wilayah pelosok desa dan kelurahan, pemda dipastikan tidak bergerak sendiri. Sebanyak 300 personel gabungan dari Universitas Brawijaya (UB) dan internal Dinas Pertanian dikerahkan secara serentak guna menyisir kelayakan daging di tingkat akar rumput.

Di sisi lain, pengawasan ketat juga diarahkan untuk mempersempit ruang gerak praktik nakal penjualan daging gelonggongan yang merugikan konsumen.
Plt. Wali Kota Batu Heli Suyanto turut menekankan, pelaku usaha dan masyarakat umum disarankan untuk mengoptimalkan operasional infrastruktur Rumah Pemotongan Hewan (RPH) resmi milik pemerintah daerah yang jaminan higienitasnya sudah teruji.
“Kalau semua hewan ternak dipotong di RPH insyaallah tidak ada praktik gelonggongan karena di sana higienisnya sudah terjamin dan sertifikasinya jelas,” ujar Heli Suyanto.
