JATIMTIMES - Informasi mengenai larangan penggunaan Pertalite untuk mobil dengan kapasitas mesin di atas 1.400 cc ramai beredar di media sosial dalam beberapa hari terakhir. Dalam unggahan yang viral, disebutkan sejumlah merek kendaraan tidak lagi diperbolehkan membeli BBM subsidi tersebut mulai 1 Juni 2026.
Kabar itu pun memicu kebingungan di tengah masyarakat, terutama para pemilik kendaraan pribadi yang khawatir tidak lagi bisa menggunakan Pertalite.

Menanggapi isu tersebut, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga akhirnya buka suara dan memastikan informasi yang beredar tidak benar. Corporate Secretary Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth M.V. Dumatubun, menegaskan bahwa hingga saat ini tidak ada kebijakan ataupun arahan resmi dari pemerintah terkait pembatasan pembelian Pertalite berdasarkan merek kendaraan maupun kapasitas mesin tertentu.
Menurut dia, daftar kendaraan yang disebut dilarang membeli Pertalite mulai 1 Juni 2026 hanyalah informasi palsu yang tidak dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. “Informasi mengenai daftar merek kendaraan tertentu yang disebut tidak boleh membeli Pertalite mulai 1 Juni 2026 dipastikan tidak benar karena sampai saat ini tidak ada rencana ataupun arahan dari pemerintah dan regulator,” ujar Roberth dalam keterangan resmi, Sabtu (23/5/2026).

Roberth menambahkan, Pertamina Patra Niaga tetap menjalankan tugas penyaluran energi sesuai kebijakan pemerintah. Sampai sekarang, distribusi Pertalite di seluruh wilayah masih berjalan normal tanpa perubahan aturan terkait kendaraan pengguna.
“Sekali lagi kami tegaskan, hingga saat ini tidak ada aturan atau arahan dari pemerintah terkait pembatasan Pertalite berdasarkan merek kendaraan tertentu maupun kapasitas mesin kendaraan,” lanjutnya.

Terkait Program Subsidi Tepat yang saat ini dijalankan Pertamina, Roberth menjelaskan program tersebut bertujuan memperbaiki tata kelola distribusi BBM subsidi agar lebih tepat sasaran. Namun, program itu tidak berkaitan dengan daftar kendaraan yang viral di media sosial.
Pertamina pun meminta masyarakat selalu mengecek kebenaran informasi melalui kanal resmi pemerintah, regulator, maupun Pertamina agar tidak mudah terpengaruh kabar bohong di ruang digital.
